Key Responsibilities

Hours of Work:

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM one week, followed by 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM the next week, alternating weekly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sand and rub metal parts to prepare surfaces for powder coating
  • Clean parts thoroughly to remove dust, oil, and other contaminants
  • Mask areas that should not be coated
  • Hang and remove parts from racks or hooks safely and efficiently
  • Follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • No previous experience required – full training will be provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of operatives to achieve production and quality targets.
  • Plan and organise daily workloads to ensure smooth operational performance.
  • Monitor production output and machine performance, recording downtime and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Promote and enforce health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance across the team.
  • Carry out quality checks in line with company procedures.
  • Complete production reports and operational documentation accurately and on time.
  • Produce shift plans and ensure effective communication through detailed shift handovers.
