Quality Administrator

Are you a Quality Administrator looking to develop their career. Major Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity to join our Manufacturing client at their site in Kilsyth. The role of a Quality Administrator is crucial to the success of the Quality Management System.

Working Pattern – Monday Friday

Hours of Work: Dayshift

Payrate: £25-£30K

Contract: Permanent

Please note: Part of this role will include travel to off-site training events with a possibility of overnight accommodation being provided

Role Overview

This role will consist of coordinating and supporting the activities related to the quality system within the organisation, working with 3rd party organisations to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement. Additional duties will include: quality documentation control for various customers in various sectors, planning internal quality audits and maintain quality documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compile quality documentation.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure documentation compliance.
  • Participate in meetings with various customers and internally at various levels.
  • Maintaining and control documentation processes .
  • Attending off-site training courses.
  • Preparing ITP and Sub-Tier Maps for customers.
  • Reviewing and control current procedures and working practices.
  • To aid in the continual improvement of the QMS.

Skills and Essential Experience

  • Experience using Microsoft applications. (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power point)
  • Experience in dealing with ISO9001:2015 compliance.
  • Experience in documentation control.
  • Experience in administration.
  • Experience in dealing with customers.
  • Ability to implement and control continuous improvement.
  • A keen eye for detail.

Major Recruitment are currently seeking a field based operational lead/manager based in or around the Cumbernauld area of Scotland for our client who cover all parts of the UK.
