Main Duties:

  • Support Site Electrical engineer

Role Requirements:

  • Time served recognised apprenticeships preferably multi skilled biased
  • Minimum HNC qualification in a relevant discipline (ideally level 3 qualified)

  • Experience of CMMS utilisation and development
  • Minimum of 5 years industrial experience, food manufacturing experience in a similar role would be an advantage

Main Duties:

  • Ensure safe operating practices are available, in operation and are followed.
  • Manage, update, communicate & audit site cleaning systems for compliance to quality, safety and GMP policies/procedures in QMS.

  • Participate in the site HACCP team, advising on controls and monitors for effective cleaning and any other hazards.
  • Maintain systems and controls to ensure that hygiene, food safety & quality of product is at the forefront of all activities.
  • Monitor weekly hygiene trends so as to identify, investigate and highlight incidents, alerting site Technical Manager and instigating investigations and corrective actions. Generate a monthly report against plan / KPIs for lines/products. Promote a continuous improvement approach to both reduce customer complaint levels year on year, and improve cleaning effectiveness.
  • Through structured recruitment, training and development of staff build a team that operates self-sufficiently to consistently high standards and promoting a high achiever philosophy through tailored personal development.

Purpose of the role;

Process Technologist Special features;

Key Contributions and Tasks/Accountabilities;

  • To generate process improvement proposals through collection, investigation, analysis and interpretation of operational data. It may also incorporate improvements to product Quality and Health & Safety of operators and will involve close interaction with Operations, Engineering, Quality, SHE, Training and NPD.

  • To specify the process conditions required to manufacture intermediates to standards agreed with NPD, Quality, SHE and Production via MMS and Temporary Instructions. Work with training department to ensure that correct set up and subsequent amendments are communicated to operating staff in the most appropriate format.
  • Monitoring and collating the provision of technical data (trial information, food quality, food safety) ensuring that it is appropriately reviewed to allow accurate business approvals to take place during the Stage-Gate process

Essential Skill;

  • Problem solving skills – pragmatic and practical identification of factory issues and implementation of robust solutions.

You will be in charge of managing all stock inventory to ensure smooth running of the site. No two days will be the same!!

About the role:

  • Preparing stock and organising the yard for the busy periods.
  • Must be able to copy write and write creative descriptions of each stock.
  • Performing stock checks on a regular basis ensuring all stock is accounted for at all times.
  • Photographing stock.
  • Dealing will all stock enquiries from customers and suppliers.
  • Input stock precisely.

Ideal Candidate

  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Experience in yard work with extensive knowledge of stock control.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude.

The Transport Coordinator along with the existing Logistics Team will ensure the timely and economic coordination of all transport of stock by land or sea.

The Job

  • Assist with obtaining quotes and raising customer and purchase orders.
  • Assist with coordinating third party equipment being shipped and transported worldwide ensuring all loads are hauled timely meeting all auction and shipping deadlines
  • Complete customs declarations and any regulatory paperwork as required.
  • Source new suppliers globally ensuring routes and schedules used are efficient and cost effective
  • Communicate and update other departments on status of loads
  • Manual Collection of Equipment Information
  • Follow up on purchased items with customers.
  • Assist customers on the transportation of their stock from auction site to desired location.
  • Being present on auction days to develop the customer base.

The Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a similar role.

This is a mix of office and yard work. You will have to go to the yard, locate machinery, take dimensions and some specifications.
