I am currently working with an Engineering company looking to bring into their team a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to oversee their production from Design to Delivery

SKILLS/ EXPERINCE

  • Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, design methods and tool design.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Solid grounding in robotics
  • CAD/ Cam Knowledge
  • CNC Experience
  • Degree in Engineering related field would be advantageous
  • Lean Sigma Green Belt
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role

You will be expected to:

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes
  • Design, Develop and Test automated and manual systems
  • Organise and manage workflows
  • Integrate various departments
  • Upgrade systems where necessary
  • Be heavily involved in staff training and development

Duties;

Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment; as well as responding to emergency machine break downs throughout the plant

Determine cause of potential failure or performance deterioration, and either complete remedial work during shift or brief subsequent shift and Engineering Team Leader on issue, cause and recommended solution

Involvement with new design, installation and movements of existing machines

Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment

Ensuring machines and equipment on site are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose

It will also involve ensuring all work is carried out within Health and Safety legislation

Role Requirements;

  • An experienced Electrical Maintenance engineer with the manufacturing industry experience

The role will be to cover a night shift Monday to Thursday 6pm-6am and Friday 6pm-4am

Your primary responsibility is to produce animal feed, following strict guidelines to make sure the product is safe.

Machine Operative Role Requirements:

  • Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts

You’ll lead your hygiene team with strong ideas, clear focus and credibility whilst engaging and influencing key stakeholders and teams across the site. You’ll develop and manage the maintenance and improvement programme to efficiency and meet performance criteria.

As a Supervisor you’ll coordinate hygiene schedules and labour to ensure compliance to legislation, microbiological and visual hygiene & food safety standards. Identify ways to bring cost savings whilst maintaining efficiencies and quality as well as managing maintenance and stocks. Ensuring that potential hazards are analysed and preventative measures are actioned to reduce the risk of harm.

Essential Ingredients

  • A proven track record of maintaining and improving high standards of hygiene ideally within a food manufacturing environment.
  • You’ll have a good working knowledge of H&S/food safety systems & legislation (e.g. Advanced Food Hygiene, COSHH & IOSH).
