Major Health care are recruiting Rapid Resonders on a 6months contract.

We require Care Assistants to join the existing team delivering both safe and effective care to service users in their own homes.

You will be required to work day or night shifts with our clients providing short term cover for sickness or holidays.

A full driving licence with access to own vehicle is essential for this role as you will be required to travel to the individual home when the respond buzzer is pressed.

Experience in the care sector is essential, knowlege of moving and habdling and emergancy resonse also.

Hours of work are 0600-1300 / 1300-2000 and the night 2000-0600

5 days per week on a rota basis – as will include weeknds.

Skills & experience:

Previous experience in care, preferably complex care.
Ability to work independently and flexibly to meet both the needs of the business and Clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication

Electrical Engineer – Panel Board

We are currently seeking a reliable electrical engineer within panel building to join our client based in Rotherham (S60)

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician who will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment and control panel design/build. In this position, you will be expected to identify electrical problems, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and perform necessary repairs. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all work is done in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Salary: £35,000

Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday 8AM – 4.30PM (FRI 4PM FINISH)
O/T available if wanted on a sat


Electrical Technician duties and responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
  • Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize electrical systems and equipment
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices
  • Stay up-to-date with advances in electrical technology and industry best practices

Electrical Technician requirements and qualifications

  • Minimum level 3 NVQ/ HNC electrical/electronics engineering
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program in electrical systems
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and repair
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of electrical safety codes and regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • BS7671:2018 Amendment 3 electrical wiring regulations
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Experience with industrial control systems
  • Experience with electrical testing and measurement equipment
  • Experience with electrical power distribution systems
  • Knowledge of automation systems

Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software

Experienced Maintenance person Care Home

The post holder will be experienced and ensure the security, safety, cleanliness, maintenance and repair within operational policy and procedures within the service.

Key Duties/Areas of Responsibility

  1. Carry out general building and premises maintenance this to include minor repair work
  1. Make sure outside areas of the premises, parking areas, pathways and shrubbery are free from litter and are kept clean and tidy.
  1. Undertake some gardening maintenance.
  1. Undertake a range of Domestic Cleaning, this to include, high level cleaning, cleaning of equipment, shampooing carpets, hard surface floor cleaning and polishing.
  1. Liaise with and direct trades people (Council and Contractor) when they are carrying out repairs.
  1. Maintain effective repairs schedule and information.
  1. Order supplies through support staff and receive goods, store and distribution throughout premises. Ensure supplies are maintained to correct stock levels.
  1. Carry out checks on various equipment including fire alarm testing and security of building
  1. Spread grit and clear snow during winter months.
  1. Liaise with Building Manager EDS
  2. Experience in this Role is prefered

You must be flexible in your approach to work and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be involved in discussions on works to carry out and liase with outside contractors.
Be able to use your initiative and decide in the order of daily tasks.

Driving Class 1 vehicles

1-5 drops per days, a mixture of both delivering and collecting

Our client is a leading supplier of Insulation, construction products and building materials and delivers to a mixture of building sites, RDC’s and stores and looking for experienced Class 2 drivers for Monday to Friday shifts,

General start times are 05:00-06:00 and generally 10-12 hours shifts

PAYE Pay Rate:

£13.50 per hour (PAYE) plus holiday accrual

Duties:

Driving Class 2 vehicles

1-8 drops per days, a mixture of both delivering and collecting

Mainly palletised deliveries, using the tail lift and pallet truck

Hours:

Working between Monday to Friday

Start times between 0500-0600, on average 8-12 hours per day
