Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for an established reputable organisation in the Smethwick area who are seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to support their busy and successful sales team.

Duties and tasks will include:

  • Processing a high volume of customer orders.
  • Following up Order confirmations.
  • Dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails
  • Conducting inbound & outbound service calls to customers.
  • Supporting the Internal Sales Managers and Account Managers with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives.
  • Communicating internally important feedback from customers.
  • Fill in for the Internal Sales team when needed.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. Parking is available.

Hamilton woods are currently working with a well established manufacturing business in Smethwick offering a fantastic Credit Control opportunity. The role involves effective communication with customers, third parties, and internal teams to resolve queries, as well as day-to-day management of invoicing, credit notes, and debt collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Communication: Liaise with customers, third parties, and internal teams to promptly resolve customer queries and concerns.
  • Sales Ledger Management: Efficiently manage the sales ledger, including the timely generation of invoices and credit notes.
  • Debt Collection: Actively chase outstanding debts through both phone and email communication to ensure timely payments.
  • Payment Handling: Receive, record, and allocate payments accurately, maintaining up-to-date financial records.
  • Credit Facility Assessment: Assess and monitor customer credit facilities, ensuring they align with agreed terms and are appropriate for the ongoing trading relationship.

Key Skills

  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers, internal teams, and third parties.
  • Credit Control Experience: Demonstrate some experience in credit control or a related financial role, showcasing an understanding of debt management.
  • Software Proficiency: Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for efficient ledger management and reporting.
  • Organisational Skills: Be highly organised to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and customer interactions concurrently.

Customer Service Advisor

Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a Customer Service Adviser for a public sector organisation in the Smethwick area. The role will be on an ongoing temporary basis and for a minimum of three months.

You must have an enhanced DBS in order to apply or this role

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm and a 5pm finish on Fridays.

You will deliver an enhanced customer experience that promotes well being to local people and their local communities. You will enable people to live independently for longer by supporting people to retain or regain their skills and confidence, and prevent the need or delays in deterioration wherever possible.

Duties and Tasks will include;

  • To have knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory framework and Government initiatives relating to your service area, including safeguarding, and the needs of vulnerable adults.
  • To have knowledge of the principles and responsibility of information sharing and data protection in line with legislation.
  • To act as the first point of contact for Adult Social Care enquiries, identifying customer need through the provision of excellent customer service.
  • On receipt of an enquiry you will be required to undertake initial assessment to determine the most appropriate response. This will include resolving queries through the provision of advice and information; signposting customers to other agencies who can meet their needs; referral onto the appropriate team; arranging for the provision of services; or assisting with the completion of the self assessment.

  • Experience with dealing enquires of a sensitive and confidential nature
  • Relatable experience of adult social care
