Our client is offering an excellent opportunity for 7.5t drivers looking for ad-hoc work in the Norfolk area.

These shifts are AD-HOC positions to help with sickness, holiday and cover, excellent for anyone looking for a few extra hours of work!

Shifts : Monday to Sunday

Start time: From 0600

Pay rate: From £12.58 per hour

You can not have more than 6 points on your licence

  • Must be over 21 Years Old
  • Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
  • Good Geographical Knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills

Major Recruitment are pleased to be working with a rapidly growing pet foods industry. The company is the UKs No1 Raw Pet Food and Europe’s leading experts on raw and natural dog and cat foods.

We are currently recruiting for a number of roles within production , this is an ongoing role.

  • Production Operatives – Monday to Thursday 16:50 – 01:20 and Friday 14:00-21:00

Main Duties:

  • Operating factory machinery and equipment

  • Weighing and classifying raw materials, fruits and vegetables in preparation for production

  • Handling and feeding batches of raw material into a conveyor belt

  • Packing variety of raw finished products performing quality assurance

  • Ensuring product is correctly produced and labeled

  • The work can be repetitive and will involved lifting variety of goods

  • General housekeeping and cleaning of the work areas

Skills and Experience

  • Basic Health and Safety and hygiene.
  • Basic IT skills and bespoke systems in-house.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • A good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Previous experience with food products and materials.

Own Transport required due to site location – NR16
