Mechanical Maintenance Technician

A Good Mechanical Maintenance is needed by a busy manufacturing company in Suffolk

You will be responsible for mechanical maintenance and repairs of various manufacturing equipment within a busy factory environment. The role will involve a mixture of planned, preventative & reactive maintenance, responding to breakdowns and participation in continuous improvement projects. You will also carry out machinery installation and commissioning as part of either process change projects or CAPEX projects

You will need to be a qualified mechanical maintenance technician with some knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and piping systems. Good organisation and communication skills are essential as is a good level of IT literacy

E&I Technician

Are you an E&I Technician fed up with shift work or working away and looking for a day shift role close to home with a globally recognised business? If so I have a great opportunity for you.

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician you will be responsible for planned, preventative & reactive maintenance and calibration of various process equipment and instrumentation. And manage of medium / low voltage equipment and power cabins; You will also be involved in plant improvement projects, updating the CMMS and ensure any documentation is completed correctly. You will also supervise subcontractors where necessary ensuring that they have the correct Permits To Work and adhere to HSE procedures whilst on site.

You will be a time-served electrical technician with experience of a variety of electrical equipment and process instrumentation. Experience of 3-phase motors, variable speed drives and PLCs would be a strong advantage. You will need to be organised, have good problem-solving and fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to work. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Responsibilities

Contributing to the young person’s care plans and risk assessments, their review and implementation

Forming effective relationships with young people, their families (if appropriate) and external agencies

Ensuring the home is kept clean and in a tidy condition, adhering to the cleaning rota system, encouraging the young people to participate as appropriate.

Ensuring that good quality records are maintained as required with supervision and advice from shift and Managers.

Maintaining and promoting residential care work to high levels of professionalism expected by Ofsted.

Contributing to the educational and social development of each young person and assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Programs

Meeting the emotional and physical needs of our young people and maximising opportunities for their development

Providing support to the deputy/manager of the home whilst on shift and performing senior duties as directed

Requirements

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience in a children’s home setting (essential)
  • Passion to help nurture young people.
  • Be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins (rota plan given in advance but likely to be 1 on, 2 off)
  • Full, UK driving licence (essential)
  • All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations.

Days of work: Weekdays Monday to Friday – Days / Nights / Weekends
Rate of pay: PAYE Drivers £14.20ph- £16.10ph – Night out rate £26ph – plus holiday pay

Our client is an independent logistics operator specialising in intermodal transportation solutions, inland container yard operations and value-added services

Drivers must meet the following criteria,

  • Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience
  • A valid UK CPC Card
  • A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence (No DR, DD or IN)
  • Container experience is essential
  • RHIDES card – preferable although not essential

This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial driving experience who enjoys being on the road.
