Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Mundford Norfolk
Rate of pay: £12.95 – £13.20ph
Working Hours: Shift pattern: Early shift 6am – 2pm and Late shift (2pm – 10pm), Monday to Friday
Major Recruitment are working together with a well established company in the pet food industry, we have a great role on for a Quality Assurance Technician. This role is a temp to perm and comes with a competitive salary and benefits.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out daily checks to maintain site compliance.
- inspecting and assessing products against specifications through all stages of production.
- report any quality issues to the line manager.
- inspecting raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity.
- ensure shelf-life is conducted; data recorded and report any failures.
- filling out and reviewing production paperwork
- Maintain retention samples and testing records
- Calibration of probes as requested.
- Conducting glass audits and good manufacturing production audits
- The list is not exhausted.
What are we looking for:
- Previous experience in a QA role, preferably in a BRC-accredited factory
- Previous food manufacturing experience
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate but not essential
- An eye for detail, to catch defects.
- A natural communicator and team worker
- A good level of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work using initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable
- Basic IT skills
- Confident and willing to learn
