Sales controller / Showroom Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Sales Controller / Showroom Manager at our award-winning Bury St Edmunds site.

As a Sales controller / Showroom Manger you will be part of a 2 person sales management team.

The objective of the role is to maximise each and every vehicle sales customer enquiry that comes into our business, that may be a walk in customer, a telephone or internet enquiry, a manufacture delivered enquiry or from any of our social media platforms.
You will be the beating heart of the sales department and know at what stage every customer is at in the buying process.
You will introduce yourself early on in the meet and greet to make sure the customers are aware of you role i the business and be there for any questions or queries your sales team may not be able to answer.
You will also be responsible for finance sign ups and make sure the purchase is paid out prior to the customer driving away their new car.

You will also make sure the business is protected by being 100% compliant with Gdpr regulations through auditing all deal files.

Ongoing in house and manufacturer training is training is a definite positive for us we want our people to be the best and training them helps them and ourselves become better and stronger together

What we need form you is:
A full preferably clean Uk driving licence
Motor trade experience at senior sales, business manager, transaction manager or sales manager level.

* Duties will include- Picking and packing garden seeds and garden tools, this can include heavy lifting.
* No experience is necessary as all training will be provided.

Aftersales advisor

My client a motor trade main dealer in Bury St Edmunds is looking for an Aftersales advisor to join their team on the service desk. This role has become available due to an internal promotion.

Motor trade service department experience is required for this role as we need someone to hit the floor running.

You will meet and greet customers discussing their vehicle servicing repair and vehicle warranty needs. Experience of Kerridge crm system an advantage but training will be given.

Working alongside the service team and the department manager to achieve targets and maximise customer satisfaction.

A full uk driving licence is required. The salary is experienced dependent but the Ote will be £30,000 plus. A host of benefits as you would be expected from a great employer.

Building Services Design Engineer

A Design Engineer with a background in M&E, HVAC or Building Services skills is needed by a busy Engineering company in Suffolk

Working within a busy Design team you will be producing 3D models of building layouts including congested void spaces, utility runs and other spatially planned areas of concept layouts. You will also produce 2D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit to RIBA standards for a variety of client projects including General Arrangements, Elevations, Sectional Plans, and additional layouts. You will also review and deliver design elements outlined in commercial proposals, ensuring all designs / documents correlate accurately, drawings match Proposal, FDS, MRS, Registers and highlight deviations You will ensure that all work produced applying the correct design principles and Level of Detail, using appropriate drawing standards and design principles.

You will work closely with the Commercial department to produce early-stage concept design, identify any potential issues with designs where they deviate from design principles or present technical challenges and overcoming with solution focussed approach. You will also carry out Lighting & Structural Calculations, carry out site surveys gain design insights & to improve drawing compilation accuraby, attend client meetings and ensure detailed notes are taken to ensure all design changes and requests are all captured and implemented in next stage of design.

KEY SKILLS

You will need a solid background in AutoCAD drawing production for within Building Services, Construction or Architecture with at least 3 years’ experience. You will need experience in 3D design production / BIM. Any experience of using Revit would be ideal.

You will also have the following personal qualities:-.

  • Be detailed, organised, diligent and comprehensive in your approach
  • Have a strong work ethic, strive for high quality a& quantity of output
  • Have a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude and a collaborative nature
  • Be prepared to travel nationwide and stay in accommodation overnight occassionally when needed
  • You will be able to comprehensively use and work with Microsoft Excel
