My Client is well established, industry leading Engineering company. Based in North Yorkshire, they have seen year on year success, with further growth plans for 2022/23. They offer a range of services from, design, manufacturing through to installation. This has given the company opportunities to service a multitude of sectors, with a diverse client base stretching across the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Steel Plater to join their team on a Permanent basis.

This opportunity gives a Fabricator the chance to work with one of the most respected companies in the UK. They offer not only an excellent package, but more importantly in today’s world, job security.

Shift:

Day shift hours are Monday – Thursday 7am -5:30pm Friday 7am -1pm

Main Duties:

  • Reading and interpreting detailed fabrication drawings
  • Setting out of complex fabrications using the appropriate equipment
  • Working in accordance with a build method statement
  • Tack welding components into position following the appropriate welding procedure
  • Lifting, turning, manipulating and moving heavy loads with cranes
  • Working to production deadlines
  • Carrying out self-inspection of fabrications
  • Welding duties in accordance with qualifications
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by only adopting safe working practices and ensuring that housekeeping is of the highest standard
  • Carrying out prior to use safety inspection, record and report any adverse actions / conditions

Role Requirements:

  • Candidates should be time-served fabricators or possess the equivalent fabrication standards through experience
  • Experience working in industrial and heavy industrial environments
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to inspect own work
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Flexibility with regards to working both day and night shift

Electrical Installation Engineer

Our client, an international engineering company working in the water industry are looking for a senior rental electrical installation engineer to join their team. You will need a good understanding of installing 3 phase pumps/motors and associated control equipment.
Essential duties/principal responsibilities:
Support the rental team with temporary installation, repair and refurbishment of submersible and surface mounted
Isolate, dismantle and inspect pumping equipment
Minimum qualifications:
L2 EAL NVQ Diploma Performing Engineering Operations
Electrically qualified to C&G 2330 Level 3 (Including 17th/18th edition)
C&G 2391 Inspection and testing
ECS/JIB Gold Card
Good knowledge of pumps/motors &3 phase electrical systems
Full driving licence

Field Service Engineer

Our client are looking for a permanent Field Service Engineer. The role is to undertake the installation, repair and maintenance of Pumps and associated Pump Rental Equipment.
The role will be based from home as some days you may be working on a client site, servicing or repairing customers pumps etc.
Skills/qualifications:
L2 EAL NVQ Diploma Performing Engineering Operations or similar experience
Good knowledge of Pumps,
Full driving licence
Able to use IPhone and laptop

An opportunity for an FLT Driver to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis at their Thirsk site.

This opportunity as an FLT Driver, gives you the chance to work with one of the most successful food manufacturers in the region.

As an FLT Driver, you will join their back shift on a permanent back shift 2:40pm-11:30pm

Production Operative Duties:

  • Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor
  • To help prioritise workloads within the department / designated warehouse area
  • To deal with the movement of products within the warehouse, using a Counterbalance FLT
  • Picking and packing duties when required, and taking instructions from supervisors and management
  • Loading and unloading wagons
  • Maintain the company’s health & safety standards at all times
  • To follow all legal and company requirements to the use of forklifts in the Warehouse

Role Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a warehouse environment
  • An in date Counterbalance Licence (RTITB / ITTSAR)
  • Must be punctual
  • Experience of working to targets
  • Communicates effectively on all levels
  • Professional attitude to work
  • Able to work with own initiative
