We are currently recruiting on behalf our our client who are a leading industry innovator within the brewing and keg industry based in Wakefield (WF3) they are currently looking to recruit a site tech.

Working hours:
Monday-Friday 07.30am – 15.30pm

Salary:
£28,000

Object of the Role
To keep timely records of results performed on the automated Fit to Fill line.
Operators will perform ½ hourly titration tests on kegs that have gone through the automated system to ensure all traces of Caustic & Acid have been removed.

It is the responsibility of the technical person that they perform hourly checks to ensure records are correct.
If the Technical person feels that tests and results are not correct, they are empowered to stop the line and report directly to the Operations Manager.

When kegs or casks are returned for QA issues, the technical person will liaise will the Team at site and then detail in a report their findings which will be shared with customers and contracts alike.

The company undertakes projects for Breweries which will need to be overseen by the technical person to ensure all refurb and cleaning tasks are adhered to in the Working instructions. Brewers demand reports in respect to findings as the project is underway. Day to day communication with the customers is critical as part of the role.

Auditing

As site Technical there will be weekly & Monthly site audits that need undertaking, these will be accompanied by a member of the Senior Management team. Findings will be reported back to the Team and actions will be assigned and controlled by Technical.

As this Business Grows it is required that the technical person also has the ability to train people not only at the Wakefield site but also the planned Southern sites.

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor for a permanent role based in Wakefield.

Purpose of the role

Providing new administrators and supervisors with systems training.

Supporting the rollout of new company initiatives and help manage new customer go-lives.

Collaborating effectively with site teams to highlight opportunities for improvements.

Main duties and responsibilities

What you will do:

Working as part of the dedicated continuous improvement team, keeping up to date with the

latest company processes and procedures.

Attending company sites to undertake training and development as a team.

Driving the roll out of new company initiatives across sites.

Reviewing and developing efficiency within existing work practices and identify improvement.

Supporting the implementation team with the setup, training, and implementation of new

contracts

Managing and auditing site Radio Data Terminals (RDT’s)

Effectively communicating and implementing change through formal and informal processes

and procedures.

Supporting with warehouse systems training for new administrators and supervisors.

Ensuring Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policy.

Creating, maintaining and auditing internal operating procedures
