GATE HOUSE SECURITY – DAYS & NIGHTS

Due to business growth, we are looking for an experienced Security Officer to work at our Head Office based in Warrington, ensuring the security of product, staff and premises are protected.

We have vacancies available for SIA Licensed Security Officers on a guaranteed hours contract on a shift pattern. If you are a Security Officer that excels in a busy customer focused role, then please get in touch.

Shift pattern: Covering days, nights & weekends on a 4on 4off basis (0600-1800/1800-0600) – Night allowance

Reporting directly to the Head of Warehouse and Logistics, your duties will include (but not limited to):

* Access Control to the property
* Regular internal and external patrols, keeping logs and reporting concerns and incidents
* Monitoring CCTV
* Patrolling and securing the area.
* Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
* Communicating effectively with the client.
* Ensure the safety of Staff and Visitors.
* Escorting the residents
* Following procedures for various initiatives including fire presenting, traffic control and accident investigations.
* Guarding valuables in a secure area.
* Liaise with client in respect of Serious incidents.
* Maintaining an incident report record.
* Monitor access points – e.g., main/rear entrances, fire exits, secured ground floor windows
* Respond to all alarm activations

Key Skills

* An SIA Licence is essential
* Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Ability to resolve problems quickly and with integrity
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict
* Strong conflict management skills

WAREHOUSE CLEANER/HYGEINIST

Job Description

You will be responsible for effectively carrying out all the required functions once trained to do so.

* Ensure that the warehouse is clear of excess cardboard, banding, shrink wrap and general waste in the dedicate bins/balers
* Operating the balers to ensure waste is stored in the correct manner.
* Ensure any hazardous waste is cleaned and control in the correct manner following FSA.
* Ensure any Allergen waste is cleaned and control in the correct manner following COSHH.
* Operating a floor scrubber machine on a daily/weekly basis as part of the supervisor/depot manager request.
* Ensure the reception, hallways and stairs are swept and mopped.
* Ensure the lockers rooms, shower facilities and restrooms are clean to highest standards.
* Operating Counterbalance to ensure all bails from the bailing machine are stacked in a correct manner stored in a dedicated area in the yard.
* Monitoring/ordering cleaning equipment/chemicals to ensure enough stock is on site.

All work must be carried out in a timely fashion to a high standard of accuracy.
