CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS REQUIRED – LEAMINGTON

We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for regular Monday to Friday work in the Leamington area.

Position Details:

  • £18.50 per hour PAYE
  • Monday to Friday
  • 06:00 start times
  • No handball
  • 2-6 deliveries per day
  • 1-2 runs per day
  • Regular, ongoing work available
  • Minimum 2 year’s Class 1 driving experience required

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to join our growing operation based in Rugby.

This role involves the transportation and delivery of heavy machinery and plant equipment throughout the UK using flatbed trailers. Successful candidates must have previous experience securing heavy loads using chains, binders, and ratchet straps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Night-time deliveries of heavy machinery and specialist equipment.
  • Operating Class 1 articulated vehicles with flatbed trailers.
  • Securing loads safely using heavy chains, tensioners, and straps.
  • Completing vehicle checks and associated paperwork.
  • Ensuring compliance with driver hours, tachograph regulations, and road transport legislation.
  • Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
  • Driver CPC Qualification Card.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Proven flatbed trailer experience.
  • Experience transporting and securing heavy machinery.
  • Confident using heavy chains, chain binders, and load restraint equipment.
  • Maximum 6 points for minor offences.
  • Good understanding of load security regulations and safe working practices.

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Services Lead to join a leading housing provider, managing supported housing, homelessness and temporary accommodation services across Warwickshire.

Responsibilities of the Services Lead:

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of supported housing and homelessness services

  • Manage and develop a team of staff and volunteers

  • Oversee referrals, occupancy, voids and move-on planning

  • Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and service compliance

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities and partner agencies

  • Monitor service performance, budgets and contractual requirements

  • Support customers with complex needs including homelessness, mental health, substance misuse and offending histories

  • Drive service improvements and ensure positive outcomes for customers

Essential Experience of the Services Lead:

  • Previous management experience within supported housing, homelessness or housing services

  • Experience managing and developing staff teams

  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and housing management

  • Experience working in partnership with local authorities and external agencies

  • Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle

You will be required to visit properties in and around the Stratford area, supporting tenants who are at risk of homelessness/ substance abuse/ mental health issues.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker:

  • Provide person-centred 1:1 support, creating and reviewing individual support plans to help residents achieve personal goals and promote positive behaviours.
  • Offer guidance and advocacy across housing, health, welfare and related areas, supporting residents to make informed choices.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies, including mental health and housing services, to meet residents needs effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records, contribute to meetings, and comply with organisational policies, legal requirements, and best practice standards.

Essential Requirements of the Housing Support Worker:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
