MiGrowth are working with a Global Vendor of Laptops/ tablets. We are looking to add to the team as this is a growth role within the business.

We are looking for someone to who can develop strong relationships and build trust with new and existing customers, Communicate with IT Directors, IT Managers/Co-ordinators & purchasers to win opportunities and achieve the company targets, to take ownership of all the activity and sales within each account from top to bottom.

What you will be doing

  • Perform product / sales training for the partners
  • Travel for customer visiting and meetings
  • Undertake Sales and Marketing related administration tasks
  • Propose and setup key strategies within managed products to help grow business
  • Review sales and marketing opportunities within managed accounts

Who we are looking for:

  • 3 years’ experience of working in IT industry preferably in distribution, reseller, or vendor field, with understanding of IT products
  • Experience of making successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organisation
  • Experience of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Strong organisational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Excellent problem resolution and consultative sales skills
  • A proactive, self-starter – able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team

Audio Visual Manager

Audio Visual Sales Manager with Hotel

Basic from £23,000 up to £25,000 per annum overtime and bonus available (OTE £28k)

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with some weekend working required

Location: Crewe

MiGrowth are currently working with a leading technical production company who are expanding their teams and require an AV Manager based at a prestige venue in the heart of Crewe.

Our client is a full service technical solutions provider to the live event industry. They provide equipment and support to live event clients including Event Management and Production Companies throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. Specifically the company supplies Sound, Light, Vision, Stage, Power and Media.

Job purpose:

To provide technical advice and support to a number of hotels we work in partnership with, including upselling our clients services where possible.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

To service and coordinate all AV requirements as requested by clients through the events team
To contact clients in relation to future bookings within the venue and upsell our services where possible
To offer technical advise and support to the sales and events team
Ensuring that all kit is set up neatly and to a high standard
To generate proposals for events and work directly with clients to ensure that their event runs smoothly
To keep an on-going stock check of equipment stored on site
Keep an up-to-date running sheet of work, along with submitting a weekly costs sheet
To act as a project manager, with the support of the Project Manager, for larger events
To work with the operation staff to ensure each room has correctly set up AV equipment
To supervise any freelance staff who are working on our behalf
To service other local hotels in the area with equipment hires

The Applicant

The successful candidate will need to have at least 2 years’ experience working in the corporate AV hire and live events industry with a broad knowledge of audio visual, sound and lighting kit.

What you will be doing:

As part of the ‘systems’ team, responsible for consumer PC (e.g. gaming and commercial (e.g. Business, Education) laptops, desktop and all-in-ones, you will be responsible for the development and execution of all channel marketing initiatives within tier 2 resellers and distribution.

The focus of the role is to create industry leading marketing campaigns that raise awareness and create interest for IT solutions within the education sector, SMB and enterprise resellers and also B2B corporate end users.

Responsibilities:

* Create and execute quarterly marketing plans with resellers and distributors, working internally with the respective account managers to align with their product line-up and needs.
* Develop strong account relationships with both buyers and marketers.
* Ensure accurate budget management and administration, including internal and external proof of execution (POE) reporting for any financially supporting vendors (e.g. Intel, Microsoft etc.)
* Provide creative briefs to the internal creative team and/or fulfilling various creative requirements via the Adobe Creative suite.
* Provide all product detail content to support the creation of product detail pages, online brand stores and any additional rich-media (A+).
* Co-ordinate and fulfil marketing requirements of any channel-led events, including event kit production, merchandise and promotion.
* Align regularly with the marketing leads across consumer PC, gaming and commercial on the latest brand messages.
* Quarterly reporting at various stakeholder levels

Who we are looking for

* At least 4 years professional working experience

The company specialises in building bespoke audio visual solutions to suit our clients in the corporate sector. We include boardrooms, auditoriums, training & meeting rooms, video conferencing, video walls, multi room installations and digital signage.

What you will be doing :

  • Collaborate with the design team in the creation/modification of design packs.
  • Utilise the completed design pack to create misc. lists for installations.
  • Maintain customer and internal communication throughout the project regarding variations.
  • Visit sites to check on the status of the building works.
  • Talk Engineers through the project before they attend site.
  • Liaise with clients and end users via phone, email, and face to face on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure all equipment is ready for engineers to collect before an installation start date.
  • Identify access equipment requirements and arrange hire of suitable equipment where necessary.
  • Complete site surveys and document all relevant information.
  • Work with Project co-ordinator to schedule timelines for works on site.
  • Work with the service delivery team to carry out off site prep and project admin (Asset Registers/off site prep checklists)
  • Update admin/sales regarding upcoming purchasing requirements (When we need kit in for offsite prep or installations)
  • Complete training courses to stay competent with relevant AV products and services.
  • Carry out on site commissioning works when required.
  • Maintain and check all stock levels in the workshop.
  • Maintain van and complete vehicle checklist weekly.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels in your van.
  • Manage your own schedule for day-to-day tasks.
  • Maintain all company property to a high standard.

What you will be doing
* Selective targeting of Education End Users (e.g. schools, colleges and universities), instituting new programmes, and improving communication between my client and the targeted clients.
* Monitor competitor and market activity to provide sales positioning arguments, value propositions, objection handling, and competitive positioning.
* Work with Marketing on campaigns to increase awareness of the market and to support end users directly.
* Attend trade shows, conduct seminars, and participate in sales/promotional events.
* Conduct product training and demonstration activities for Education End Users.
