You must be a customer centric affable person with knowledge of customer service. Motor trade experience not essential but preffered

Experienced doing a similar role in or outside the motor trade is essential for this role.

Full uk driving licence reliable car are also essential.

This is a full time role covering Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm witha 1 hour lunch break and Saturday mornings on a team rota working 1 in 3

Basic salary is £23000 to £26000 depending on experience with a ote of £29000 – £32000 including bonus

Quality Inspector

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Quality Inspector to join our clients company based in the Essex area.

Job Purpose:

The Quality Administrator will implement and enforce quality assurance and quality control policies and systems throughout the company to certify that the company’s products are manufactured consistently and in accordance with a stringent standard of quality.
They will manage the quality systems databases for SOPs, training, change control.
The Administrator will host customer audits as well as travel to supplier sites to perform vendor audits.

Duties:

* To visually inspect parts to a given standard.
* To inspect parts using the appropriate measurement technique.
* Record and update inspection documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Liaise with other Quality Inspectors / production teams & management.
* Carry out product audits, dock audits and sample inspection of in process and finished goods
and supplier parts.
* Ensure you are using the correct safety and protective equipment as required by the customer
or the area where work is undertaken.
* Visit customer sites to carry out inspections & rework when necessary.
* Uphold all polices in relation to health, Safety and Welfare

The Candidate:

* Previous Quality Inspector experience is essential, preferably in automotive, aerospace or precision engineering roles.
* Sound knowledge of inspection techniques.
* Proficient in using micrometers and verniers, go/no gauges etc.
* The ability to interpret engineering drawings and determine appropriate measuring techniques.
* Understanding of non-conformance material control.
* PC literate.
* Clear communication skills including both verbal and written English.
* Full UK Driving Licence is desirable to travel between locations.

Motor trade Parts supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Motor Trade Parts supervisor for our main dealer showroom in Kidlington, you may be a parts person looking to step up or a parts advisor looking for a change

As a parts supervisor you must posses a customer centric thought process, the customer is at the heart of everything we do so they are number 1.

A salary of £24000 which is negotiable depending on experience and the right person to fit into the team plus a bonus giving an ote of circa £30000.
Working hours are Monday – Friday 8.30am 5.30pm. Alternate Saturday mornings Paid at overtime
Ther will be a 1hour lunch break Mon-friday

You will need to have Parts department this can be either at main dealer, Bodyshop, parts factor or independent service centre level.

System training will be given to the right candidate as will ongoing training and career progression.

You must be able to commute to Kidlington

We are looking for an experienced motor Trade Service advisor for our main dealer showroom in Kidlington

As a service advisor Knowledge of kerridge, pinnacle and 1link would be an advantage but training will be available for the right candidate.

Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Job Purpose:

Responsible for implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project-based activities, including new product introduction and manufacturing cell design to reduce waste, improve quality and safety, and reduce operating costs. Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximise success. Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting on project completion. Work under general supervision, reviewed at project milestones and/or on completion by Senior Management.

Key Responsibilities:

General and Task Management

Identify manufacturing needs for new products in development
Design new systems and processes and provide facilities & methods to ensure the cost-effective integration of new products or for the improvement of existing ones into manufacturing operations
Assist with shop floor layout and cell designs

Salary is experience dependent but will be we tween £26,000 and £30,000 with a bonus based on efficiency.

Automotive Service Centre Manager

Our client an Independent Service and Mot centre is looking for a Service Centre manager to manage the day to day running of the business in Erith

Working in conjunction with an assistant manager qualified motor trade technicians and the area manager to achieve targets and excel in customer service.

You will maintain the workflow through the business to maximise the workshop and keep the technicians busy. A hands on approach is key

Manage the day-to-day ordering of parts and consumables, making sure the parts are always ready and available
You must have a train and retain ethos to coach the team.

The business is open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm Monday – Saturday and 10-4 on Sundays and we are looking at a 4 on 4 off shift pattern but are open to discussing this with prospective candidates

Motor trade experience is essential for this role and would suit someone with a Motor trade technician background. A technician that is looking to take the 1st step into management a service manager or workshop controller looking to escape the dealer network politics.

Must hold a full uk driving licence

As a Centre manager, you will be rewarded with a basic salary which depends on experience between £33000 to £35000 plus a centre bonus for achieving set budgets.
