FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

The role will work alongside a small existing team to support both the finance department and the wider business to produce costings, margin reports, analysis and inflation management.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with New Product Development and Commercial teams
  • Sales & promotional analysis reporting and data
  • Compiling & presenting post launch analysis
  • Influence commercial decision making with accurate reports and detail
  • Assist with forecasting
  • Lead annual budget setting
  • Track & manage inflation
  • Liaise with Commercial teams and customers as needed

Experience

  • Advanced analytical skills with use of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Challenge Senior management teams when needed- questioning
  • Work with stakeholders internal and external
  • Fast paced environment
  • CIMA / ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant.

Multi-skilled Engineer (£48k – 4on/4off)

Hours of work: 08:00am – 16:00pm

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for responding to breakdowns/ reactive, and ongoing preventative maintenance of all machinery on site.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:

– Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM’s)
– Attending to machinery breakdowns
– Fault finding processing equipment, electrical and mechanical machinery
– Installation of electrical and mechanical machinery
– Adhere to health & safety, and food safety procedures
– Maintain documentation, log all breakdowns and servicing work
– Support the preparation and processing department

Skills and Experience:

– Experience working in a fast-paced FMCG / food manufacturing environment
– Qualified to min NVQ / C&G Level3 in engineering
– 17th/18th edition is extra
– Apprenticeship is extra

My client, a successful and well-respected FMCG manufacturer, are seeking a Production Manager to oversee and lead micro-production of customer samples within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for all operations and execution of plan to producing high quality samples, as per customer demand, adhering to health and safety on site.

You will be running a factory withing a factory, which comes with the challenges of micro-area / micro-culture.

You will have excellent communication and leaderships skills. As a ‘people person’ you will work very closely with your small team, manage, develop and lead your team, but also fill in for them when they are on leave etc.

You will be KPI focused based on safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery and people development.

Skills and experience;
* Working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment – 5 years
* Ideally some laboratory / quality experience
* Focused on continuous improvement, CI efficiency and LEAN processes
* Strong communicator

My client is one well known manufacturer within the Food industry & due to growth are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to join their team.

Role

  • The Engineering Shift Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance engineering activities whilst on shift.
  • Supporting the team to ensure that maximum uptime is achieved by using exacting engineering standards in the most efficient ways possible and that best practices is used to achieve and maintain maintenance standards.
  • Manage, coach and mentor their direct reports by modelling best practice and demonstrating how to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.

About you

  • Formal engineering qualification to at least City and Guilds level, ONC/HNC level or equivalent or extensive experience working as an engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of supervising/managing a team.
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong electrical skill set is essential, including PLC’s, Robotics, Programming
