My Client is a well-established, brand name manufacturer based in the heart of North Yorkshire. Based across their site, they have seen impressive growth year on year, with further growth plans for 2022. They manufacture their own brand named products, which are supplied into most retailers and hospitality venues in the UK. A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Production Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis!

Production Operative Primary Duties: To operate designated machinery to optimum efficiency, whilst maintaining quality standards and achieving production targets.

Production Operative Duties:

  • To operate machinery in line with job specifications
  • Carry our maintenance on machinery as per training
  • To manufacture quality products to agreed standards
  • Accurately record all job runs
  • Complete machine changeovers for each shift
  • To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
  • Keep work areas tidy at all times
  • Maintain a standard of hygiene of the work area
  • Undertake development as required

Production Operative Role Requirements:

  • Manufacturing experience is essential
  • An FLT Counterbalance Licence is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience in FMCG or other fast-moving consumer goods environments
  • A good level of English, both written and verbal
  • Able to follow instructions
  • A willingness to learn
  • A team player
  • Self-motivated
  • Deadline focused
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Good eye-hand-foot coordination.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.


Customer Development Manager – FMCG Not for Profit

* Develop enduring and collaborative relationships with your pre-defined group of customers and licensees

* Use every engagement with customers and licensees as a strategic and/or opportunity and always leave a positive legacy for RT.

* Input to overall commercial strategy and deliver trade channel specific strategy.

* Network across the organisation and its stakeholders to gain a good understanding of the work and how it’s relevant to industry, government, customers and consumers.

* Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with Technical, Licensing, Comms, Finance and Marketing teams to deliver the corporate strategy to amplify the Red Tractor logo.

* Assist the commercial lead in the delivery of the annual licence fee renewal process.

* Deputise in the absence of the commercial lead.

* Prepare and maintain all admin associated with account management, including presentations, account plans, contacts, contact reports etc., and to lead the further development of the CRM database. About You Knowledge & Skills * >3 years experience in business development.

* Degree/degree level intellect. * A clear sense of urgency and a doer.

* Excellent organisation skills and able to prioritise multiple responsibilities, balancing licensee and stakeholder deliverables

* Excellent communication (written and oral) skills, attention to detail and able to engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels.

* Ability to handle complexity across subject matter, licensees and stakeholders.

* Consultative, personable style and able to work efficiently under pressure.
