My client a successful and growing food manufacturing business are seeking a Senior Planner to support the Planning Manager and Operations team to ensure cost effective planning of material supplies into manufacturing and packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Maximise factory efficiency, production and labour productivity
  • Lead and develop Planning team
  • Ensure service levels are met
  • Monitor, report and improve planning KPI’s

Skills and experience.

  • SAP
  • Previous planning and scheduling experience within food manufacturing business
  • MRP, purchasing or stock control is advantageous
  • Strong IT skills including Excel, word and PowerPoint

My client a successful and well-respected food manufacturer in the North West are seeking a Production Shift Manager to oversee and lead the production within a busy manufacturing site.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for planning and controlling processes, delivering change-oriented activities and projects on the shift.

You will have excellent communication and leadership skills. As a ‘people person’ you will manage, develop, and lead your teams. You will be KPI focused based on value, quality, innovation, people and sustainability.

Skills and experience.

  • Bakery experience essential
  • IOSH
  • Working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
  • Focused on continuous improvement, efficiencies, and LEAN processes
  • Controlling costs
  • Management of quality systems
  • Leadership skills, keen to develop, educate and drive change from within
  • Managing teams 40+

Role

  • 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
  • 6-6
  • 3 month contract, possibly longer
  • Leading a team of 40-55 staff

Technical Administrator

Technical Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Administrator to help deliver exellent customer service, provide knowledge and a good understanding of products safety, standards and HACCP.

Working part of a team responsible for:

  • Customer complaints: logging, issuing investigations and sending complaints
  • Completeing KPI data
  • Completeing customer reports
  • Weekly & monthly technical summary reports
  • Administration of QSM including procedures, risk assesments, schedules
  • Interal audits
  • Maintenances of site pest control documentation
  • PO’s

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • quality systems, procedures and protocols within a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • PC skills in Microsoft office and business systems
  • Attention to detail
