• Fridays 8am-12pm (Midday)
• £12.50 p/h
• Temp to perm position

Major are recruiting a machine operator for a local production warehouse based in Bedford. This is a temp to perm role, after 12 weeks probationary period you will be offered a perm contract.

Machine operator role:

• Operate automatic cutting saws to specific measurements and requirements
• Working with aluminium extrusions
• Liaising with Production Manager
• Some manual handling
• Handling raw material and metals

Machine Operator requirements:

• • Good grasp of basic numeracy
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Capable of reading measurements
  • Ability to work under pressure when meeting deadlines
  • Experience within a production environment as a Saw Operator / Machine operator would be beneficial
  • Must be able to do heavy lifting
