Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Cleaner for a Housing Association.

The role will be covering three supported housing schemes, 27 hours a week (Monday – Friday) in Bolton (BL4 and BL3)

Responsibilities of the Cleaner include:

  • Ensuring a high standard of cleaning to the communal areas of the schemes
  • Cleaning of mats, carpets, paintwork, floors, furniture and equipment
  • Emptying bins, wastepaper bins and ashtrays
  • Laundering hand and tea towels

Hydraulic Technician

A Hydraulic Technician is needed by a growing engineering company in the Sunderland area to carry out a mixture of workshop and site based service, maintenance and assembly work

Your main responsibilities will be

  • On-site trouble shooting of hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out on site installations and workshop repairs
  • Commissioning, flushing and testing.
  • Preparing site reports.
  • Assembly and functional test power units.
  • On site and workshop pipework.
  • Attend out of hours call-outs.

The ideal candidate will an experienced hydraulic technician with good fault-finding and trouble shooting skills and experience of onsite planned maintenance routines and overhaul of hydraulic components.

The role is for 37.5 hours with additional overtime as customer requirements dictate. Some working away from home is required but for short periods, customer call outs are also part of the job role when required. The role also comes with a company van. Our long established Daventry based client, are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Engineer to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of their manufacturing facility, production machinery and site services. The successful candidate will be responsible for reactive breakdown support, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement activities and ensuring statutory compliance across the site.

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fault finding, repair and maintenance on bespoke manufacturing machinery.
  • Maintain and repair GRP production line equipment.
  • Service and maintain injection moulding machines and associated ancillary equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults involving:
    • Mechanical systems
    • Electrical systems
    • Electronic control systems
    • Hydraulic systems
    • Pneumatic systems
    • PLC-controlled machinery and automation
  • Perform fabrication and welding repairs where required.
  • Maintain dust extraction systems and associated plant.
  • Develop, manage and complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules for production equipment and site facilities.
  • Maintain building services, including:
    • Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
    • Intruder alarm systems
    • Fire alarm systems
    • CCTV systems
  • Ensure statutory inspections, testing and maintenance are completed and documented

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
Essential:

  • Multi-skilled engineering background with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience maintaining manufacturing or production machinery.
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) systems.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Desirable:

  • Experience within GRP, plastics, composites or injection moulding manufacturing.
  • Fabrication and welding experience.
  • FLT and/or MEWP (Scissor Lift) certification.
  • Electrical qualifications (18th Edition, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
