Packaging Development Manager
Leicester based FMCG business
Our clients are looking for a Packaging Development Manager to join their NPD Team working closely with major retailers in the UK.
- Working closely with the Head of NPD
- Create and work to a packaging innovation strategy
- Tracking current & future trends within packaging
- Reviewing and analysing current sustainability targets for packaging to achieve set and agreed targets
- Challenge current thinking
- Packaging innovation
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams
- Strong levels of collaboration and creativity
Who are we looking for:
- Packaging expert with qualifications within packaging technologies
- Experience in packaging roles for food manufacturing
- Understanding of packaging equipment capabilities, key materials and print processes
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part a team
- Highly motivated individual
- Strong interpersonal, communication & relationship building skills
- Target driven, good working under pressure
- Multi-tasking and multi-project working
- Strong commercial acumen
