Workshop Operative

Our client in Bicester is seeking a Maintenance Technician.

Do you have mechanical or engineering experience, such as using hand tools or working as a mechanic? Have you worked in packing, organising shipments, and managing couriers, and are you looking to broaden your experience? Are you proficient in basic IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook? If so, we may have the perfect role for you!

You’ll work alongside the Workshop Manager, benefiting from their experience and knowledge to develop your skills on unique machinery, enabling you to perform servicing and general repairs. Your daily duties include stock management, receiving deliveries, and arranging shipments.

As your experience develops, the role will evolve to include product demonstrations and on-site servicing/repair work, with opportunities to travel to Europe to visit the machinery’s manufacturing site.

You must be organised, detail-oriented, and take pride in your work quality. A car license and your vehicle are required.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

The salary ranges from £24k to £28k, with 20 days of holiday (increasing by 1 day per year up to 25 days), company healthcare, and car parking.

Car driver is essential.
