We are currently working on behalf of a social housing provider in Manchester, to recruit for a Damp and Mould Surveyor on a temporary to permanent basis.

Duties of the Damp and Mould Surveyor:

  • Undertake surveys, prepare schedules of condition, schedules of work, tender documentation and ensure specifications are kept up to date
  • Oversee the right response to damp and mould cases based on severity
  • Assist in the design, procurement and management of contracts and contractors in delivering works within the damp and mould workstreams
  • Manage day to day workload
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations
  • Review payment applications
  • Monitor performance of contractors

Requirements of the Damp and Mould Surveyor:

  • Strong knowledge around the cause of damp and mould
  • HNC qualification or equivalent
  • Driving licence

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a social housing provider, to recruit for a Maintenance Surveyor on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be completing inspections across Shropshire and Staffordshire on void and tenanted social housing properties

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Surveyor:

  • Provide solutions to deal with repairs or maintenance
  • Assist operatives whilst on site for complex issues
  • Organise inspections after diagnostic solutions
  • Provide a high quality of work to customers and stakeholders
  • Complete relevant admin duties
  • Raise and manage work orders
  • Develop detailed specifications
  • Provide technical support for disrepair, reactive repairs, and complaints

Requirements of the Maintenance Surveyor includes:

  • UK driving licence
  • Minimum of a HNC in a construction related discipline
  • Worked within domestic settings
