Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a reputable housing association in Cheshire, who are recruiting for a Senior Asset Surveyor on an initial 6month FTC.

Responsibilities of the Senior Asset Surveyor:

  • Partnering with senior management to deliver the organisations Asset Management programme
  • Managing KPI’s of contractors and consultants to bring work to completion
  • Completing both stock condition surveys and energy surveys across their social housing stock
  • Ensuring work is carried out to agreed specifications
  • Assisting with future proof planning plans in regards to zero carbon modelling

Requirements of the Senior Asset Surveyor:

  • Recent surveying experience within the housing sector

We are currently working on behalf of a social housing provider to recruit for a Maintenance Surveyor on permanent basis.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Surveyor:

  • Providing an efficient inspection and surveying service to the companies housing stock and related assets
  • Conducting ongoing repairs and maintenance surveys and progress reports, and updating information as required
  • Providing guidance, technical support, and direction when appropriate
  • Undertaking pre and post inspections
  • Maintaining in depth knowledge of relevant legislation including UK building regulations
  • Producing project design, tender and contract documentation
  • Managing project costs

Requirements of the Maintenance Surveyor:

  • Previous experience conducting planned maintenance surveys is essential
  • Social housing experience is desirable
