An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Telesales Executive to join their team on a Permanent basis.

The Telesales Executive Primary responsibility is to contribute to generating sales for the companies new business vans. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone, both inbound and outbound. You will be customer focused, maintaining excellent service levels.

Telesales Executive Main Duties:

  • Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about the new product offering
  • Answering questions about products and services offered
  • Asking key questions to understand customers’ exact requirements
  • Directing prospects to other areas of the business, if and when required
  • Maintaining ongoing sales pipeline
  • Working alongside other Sales and Marketing staff to help facilitate future sales
  • Accurately and efficiently entering customers’ details onto the internal sales system

Telesales Executive Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a telesales environment
  • The job holder must possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to aid communication with customers
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently communicate to a broad range of customers within commercial and retail sectors
  • The job holder must be motivated by a goal-oriented mentality
  • The job holder should ideally have a resilient nature
  • Ongoing training will be provided on all products and services offered by company


Customer Development Manager – FMCG Not for Profit

* Develop enduring and collaborative relationships with your pre-defined group of customers and licensees

* Use every engagement with customers and licensees as a strategic and/or opportunity and always leave a positive legacy for RT.

* Input to overall commercial strategy and deliver trade channel specific strategy.

* Network across the organisation and its stakeholders to gain a good understanding of the work and how it’s relevant to industry, government, customers and consumers.

* Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with Technical, Licensing, Comms, Finance and Marketing teams to deliver the corporate strategy to amplify the Red Tractor logo.

* Assist the commercial lead in the delivery of the annual licence fee renewal process.

* Deputise in the absence of the commercial lead.

* Prepare and maintain all admin associated with account management, including presentations, account plans, contacts, contact reports etc., and to lead the further development of the CRM database. About You Knowledge & Skills * >3 years experience in business development.

* Degree/degree level intellect. * A clear sense of urgency and a doer.

* Excellent organisation skills and able to prioritise multiple responsibilities, balancing licensee and stakeholder deliverables

* Excellent communication (written and oral) skills, attention to detail and able to engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels.

* Ability to handle complexity across subject matter, licensees and stakeholders.

* Consultative, personable style and able to work efficiently under pressure.

The Company

The Business works across the UK and Europe and are utilised by the largest corperates through to SMEs within logistics, retail, transportation, food production and so many more sectors.

The Role

  • To identify and secure both long and short-term rental of the Company’s municipal and warehouse cleaning product range and other products and services on a national basis.

  • You will be working with the Area Sales manager and related divisions with a focus on expanding the rental business for municipal and warehouse cleaning equipment and maintaining a high level of utilisation for all product ranges.

  • You’ll be making appointment with key stakeholders at potential renters, especially within the municipal sector .

  • Organised and ensure that you follow up on every opportunity and activity

  • Maintaining relationships with existing contacts and expanding business

  • Maximising the greatest possible return to the Company from selling the Company’s products and services to credit rated customers

Who are you?

  • You are confident working on your own initiative, researching potential customers and making contacts with the right people to convert knowledge into a sale.
  • An experienced negotiator in face to face selling with an ability to ‘close the sale’
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of personal presentation
  • High level of communication with contacts from various sectors.
  • Organised and driven
  • Sound general education and a basic knowledge of sweeper products
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence
