Warehouse Operative – based in Smarden (outskirts of Ashford)- Premier Coatings

Monday to Friday 08.00 – 16.30 – Temp £10.42 per hour

Transport required due to location, is 15 minutes outside Ashford and the same from Maidstone.

Job Description:

This is a fantastic Warehouse/Workshop with a great family feel who are looking for a warehouse person to do a variety of tasks such as:

Normal duties will include (but not exclusive)

  • Picking & Packing.
  • Handling products.
  • Working on the lines.
  • Working in pairs wrapping industrial butyl tape and waterproof products.
  • Unwrapping and wrapping pallets.
  • Checking in goods.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to carry out continual heavy lifting.
  • Knowledge of goods in and goods out scanning systems.

This is an immediate start and ongoing steady work with NO WEEKENDS and weekly pay and is temp to perm so guaranteed work.

You must have experience in working in a warehouse environment and be able to lift and active.

Major Recruitment are currently seeking warehouse operatives for our client based in the Liversedge area.

Due to continued growth and expansion our client is now looking to strengthen their warehouse and distribution team.

Main Duties will include.

  • Picking items from the end of the line
  • Line feeding
  • Boxing and palletising
  • Quality checking
  • Adhering to all health & safety procedures
  • Picking and packing
  • Using Pump pallet trucks
  • Any other duties as and when required

Must have some recent warehouse work experience

The role will include

The role will involve the following:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles using a PPT
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times.
  • Loading individual orders on the pallets.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Experience working in a busy environment
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Has PPT or FLT experience
  • Happy to do full training and induction
  • Can get to Hitchin

Warehouse Operatives -ME2

Our client is seeking a number of Operatives to assist them in their warehouse operation due to an increase in customer demand. The organization is based in the ME2 postcode and they are eager to take on candidates full time for this role. The operation involves Working with different types of metal. This role is a Temp to Perm opportunity for 13 weeks. When taken on full time you will have the opportunity to gain your forklift licence and first Aid.

  • Picking to order
  • Moving Stock
  • Goods in goods out ( dispatch)
  • General warehouse duties

No previous experience is required for this role however you must:

  • Be reliable
  • Have good time keeping
  • Be flexible
  • Have a good attitude
  • Be physically fit (some lifting may be required)

Hours of work

Monday – Thursday 1pm-11pm

Friday – 11am-6.30pm

(1 hour Lunch Per Day)

Hourly rate

£10.95 per hour
