We are currently recruiting for a skilled Assembly Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in sheet metal assembly who is looking for stable work and long-term prospects
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling sheet metal components using hand and power tools
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
- Ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications
- Performing basic fabrication tasks where required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working efficiently to meet production targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sheet metal assembly is essential
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with various tools and machinery
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
