We are currently looking for an Assistant Yard Manager for our client based in Northfleet.
This is a full-time role paying £30 to £35k per annum depending on experience. A yearly salary increase for the first 5 years and a performance bonus is offered.
This is a Monday to Friday role working on day shift.
Duties
- Oversee and coordinate the colleagues on Shift
- Manage Yard Operations
- Report to the Yard Manager
- Ensure targets are met.
- Monitor staff performance.
- Maintain the H&S levels on site.
- Liaise with other departments of the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- FLT Counterbalance licence would be an advantage but not a must.
