We’re currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established and growing accountancy firms, who are looking to expand their team with a talented and motivated Audit Assistant Manager!
Location
- Full-time role based in Dunfermline or Edinbrugh (Hybrid options)
Role: Audit Assistant Manager

Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients across technology, healthcare, construction, manufacturing and charity sectors.

Lead audits from planning through to completion, managing deadlines, budgets and client expectations.

Review junior team members’ work, provide constructive feedback and support their development.

Work closely with RIs and Audit Managers to deliver high-quality audit work.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.

Assess controls, identify weaknesses and make recommendations to clients.

Draft and review audit completion reports.
-
Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
-
Take ownership of your workload, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
About You:

Qualified ACCA, ICAS or equivalent
-
3-4 years’ experience within audit, including at least 1 year at a supervisory level

Previous people management experience

A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering a first-class service

The ability to work independently and use your own initiative

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Strong technical knowledge and IT skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A proven track record of working successfully as part of a team
