Buyer / Procurement Specialist
Full-Time, Permanent | Monday-Friday | Onsite in Norwich, Norfolk

They are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Buyer / Procurement Specialist to join their purchasing team. This role will play a key part in managing supplier relationships, negotiating margins, and ensuring efficient lead times to support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate regularly with suppliers to manage availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate margins and lead times to ensure best value and continuity of supply.
- Raise purchase orders and monitor order progress through to delivery.
- Support cost control and continuous improvement within the procurement process.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure materials meet operational requirements.
- Source components in line with company standards and specifications.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Buyer or Procurement role.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatic components would be advantageous.
- Confident communicating and negotiating with suppliers.
- Strong understanding of margins, pricing, and lead times.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially aware.
