We’re currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to carry out home deliveries of furniture, working out of a clients site in Sheffield. This ongoing position offers the potential for a permanent role in the future.
PAYE Pay Rate for the Class 2 Driver:
- £13.52 per hour
Responsibilities for the Class 2 Driver:
- Driving a mixture of Class 2 and 7.5T vehicles
- Completing home deliveries of furniture (15-30 drops per day, depending on location of deliveries)
- Working as a team with a drivers mate to carry out the deliveries
- Logging all deliveries on a mobile POD device
Hours for the Class 2 Driver:
- Start times are approximately 04:30
- A mixture of the below shift patterns on a rolling rota:
- Monday to Thursday
- Wednesday to Saturday
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
Requirements for the Class 2 Driver:
- Valid Class 2 (C) Licence
- Up to date CPC and Digi Card
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience on a professional basis
- Ability to use a mobile POD device
- Completion of a 3 day paid induction
