The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a growing team delivering works across a major 33kV private network substation framework in Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on varied projects. You’ll spend approximately three months on each site before moving to the next project, so you’ll need to be comfortable travelling throughout Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical teams working on substation projects.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
  • Oversee installation, maintenance and upgrade works on substations and associated electrical infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and site procedures.
  • Liaise with site management, engineers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Complete site documentation and daily reports.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
  • Strong background working on 11kV-33kV substations or similar electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience working on SSE or SPEN projects is highly desirable.
  • Must hold a valid SSSTS qualification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Scotland, moving between sites approximately every three months.

Desirable

  • SSE Cat 3 Authorisation (training can be provided if not currently held).
  • Previous experience working on private network projects.
