Job Title: Production Operative (Factory Worker)
Location: Kanes Food, Evesham WR11 8JS
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shift, 6:00-18:00
2-week rotation:
Week 1: 3 days work, 4 days off
Week 2: 4 days work, 3 days off
We operate with two rotating shifts (Red & Blue), allowing for flexibility in choosing your workdays.
The red shift is from Sunday to Wednesday or Thursday, while the blue shift covers Wednesday or Thursday to Saturday.
Includes breaks: 2x20min and 1×30 min
Pay Rate:
£11.74 per hour Basic,
£17.61 per hour Overtime,
Weekly Pay, Overtime Available
Permanent contract, after 12 weeks of successful probationary period.
About the Role:
As a Production Operative, you will be involved in the preparation, processing, packing or dispatching of products to optimum efficiency in terms of speeds, performance and quality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Chopping vegetables
- Weighing and packing
- Packing into boxes
- Adding vegetables to machines
- Mixing products while following recipes
- Up to 15kg manual lifting
- Adhering to safe working practices
- Participating in initiatives to improve process and performance of equipment, role and department

The factory is located in Evesham WR11 8JS. It is a modern facility specialised in the development and manufacture extensive range of washed and ready-to-eat salads, fresh stir-fry vegetable mixes, fresh noodles, prepared vegetables, stir-fry sauces, and salad dressings.
