Position: FLT Counterbalance Driver/Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)
Location: Bradley Stoke, Bristol BS32 0BF
Pay Rate: £14.90 per hour
Overtime: 1.25 x basic rate
Shift: 4 on, 4 off, 18:00 – 06:00
Average Paid Hours: 40.25 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent opportunity
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy warehouse team in Bristol.
You will work across both ambient and temperature-controlled warehouse areas, helping to keep goods moving safely and efficiently.
Your main responsibilities will include receiving deliveries, storing stock, picking customer orders and preparing vehicles for dispatch using a forklift truck and other warehouse equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload and safely store incoming deliveries
- Pick, pack, wrap and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Load vehicles using forklift trucks and warehouse equipment
- Move stock safely around the warehouse
- Maintain accurate stock levels and follow FIFO stock rotation
- Use warehouse systems and RDT scanning equipment
- Carry out quality and expiry date checks
- Store allergen materials safely and separately
- Maintain accurate documentation and product traceability
- Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean and organised using Clean As You Go (CAYGO) practices
- Support new team members and contribute to continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
- Good level of English, literacy and numeracy
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Previous FMCG or food warehouse experience is desirable
- Food Safety Level 2 is desirable
- Health & Safety Level 2 is desirable
- Basic IT or warehouse system experience
- Reliable and willing to learn

Pay and Benefits

- 18:00 – 06:00
- Average of 40.25 paid hours per week
- Additional hours paid at the overtime rate
- Paid every Friday
- 2 x 15-minute breaks and 1 x 30-minute break
