A Projects Coordinator with Freight-Forwarding experience is sought by an Aberdeen based Logistics company.
Working in a busy logistics environment your key duties will be to calculate and issue quotations to clients for International and Domestic shipments, oversee the collection, transportation and tracking of goods to arrival point, liaison with all parties for air, sea and road-freight shipments, arranging the compliant customs clearance of shipments and ensuring the production of complete and accurate shipment documentation and files.
KEY SKILLS
You will need to have a background in freight-forwarding, shipping and logistics and be able to organise, track and manage multiple shipments simultaneously. Good organisation skills and attention to detail are essential as is a high level of IT Literacy including MS Ofice, Sharepoint, Document Management and ERP Systems. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential. You will also have good influencing and negotiating skills and a pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making.
