Hire Controller – Stockton on Tees
Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 | Full-time | Reporting to Depot Manager
Are you detail-driven, organised, and passionate about delivering excellent service? We are looking for a Hire Controller to join a busy Stockton on Tees depot. You will be at the heart of operations, managing bookings, contracts, and customer accounts, making sure everything runs smoothly from enquiry to delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and allocated accounts
- Process hire bookings, contracts, and coordinate equipment availability
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is correct
- Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to support revenue growth

- Meticulous eye for detail and a passion for accuracy
- Strong organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Experience in hire, sales coordination, or account management is a bonus
