Junior Service Engineer
- Hertfordshire (Field-Based – London & Surrounding Areas)

- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

Major Recruitment are hiring for x2 Junior Service Engineers to their growing team. This will be working for a well-established engineering company who specialise in the manufacturing, installation and servicing within the domestic and commercial basement markets
This is a great opportunity for someone mechanically and electrically minded who wants hands-on training, real progression, and long-term stability.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Service, maintenance and repair of systems

Fault finding on mechanical and electrical components

Assisting with installation and commissioning

Diagnosing issues and carrying out repairs on-site

Completing job sheets and service reports

Providing good customer service on client sites

You will be working on submersible ground/surface and foul water systems, either alone or as part of a small team attending private and commercial properties.

Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently

- 33 days annual leave including Bank Holiday days

Paid door-to-door travel time

Time and a half from 5:30pm-10pm

Double time from 10pm-5am

Early finish if jobs are completed ahead of schedule
What They’re Looking For

Mechanical and electrical aptitude
-
Industry experience preferred but not essential
-
Open to different experience levels
-
Full clean UK driving licence (essential)

CSCS card desirable
-
Reliable, professional and willing to learn
- Ideally located in London or within the M25, you have strong analytical skills and a track record in fault finding and troubleshooting.
