The pay rate will depend on your experience and the assignment you are working on.
Prep & Cook from £13.11 per hour
Machine Operator from £13.71 per hour
Machine Op. Support from £12.71 per hour
Resort Operator £13.41 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our food production team in Consett as Skilled Food Production Operatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent, full-time position within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will be working as part of a friendly and supportive team, ensuring that high-quality food products are prepared, cooked, and packed to meet customer standards. No previous experience is required, as full training and induction will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
– Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
– Supporting cooking and preparation processes (Prep Kettle operations)
– Following recipes and production instructions accurately
– Ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times
– Completing basic quality checks on products and processes
– Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets
– Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
