Major Recruitment are searching for a Mechanical Fitter for our client based in Sunderland. This vacancy is full-time and permanent for the right candidate.
Duties include:
- Use of hand tools to maintain and repair equipment and machinery
- Reading of mechanical drawings
- Working to deadlines
- Working as part of a team and alone to meet company targets
Hours of work and pay rate:
- Monday to Thursday
- 07:00am till 17:00pm
- Some night shift work may be required
- 38 hours per week
- Overtime available during the week and weekends as and when the business needs
- £17.06 per hour
Successful candidates must have the following:
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Fitting/ Mechanical Manufacturing
- Experience working with hydraulics
- Comfortable working from heights and in all weathers
- Overhead Crane Operator/ Slinging or willing to learn
