Role: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Hours: 42hrs (Continental Shift pattern)
Salary:£47,948 + £3,640 Shift allowance
Location: Aylesham
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our clients established team based in Aylesham. Our client is a manufacturer of thermoformed plastic packaging for use in the Fresh Produce and Food Service divisions.
You will have a sound understanding of engineering fundamentals both electrical and mechanical and be responsible for developing and implementing long-term solutions by application of thorough root cause analysis
Responsibilities:
- Work on electrical installations up to 400V, process safety circuits, and electrical control circuits (PLC & VSD), following relevant health and safety standards
- Undertake planned maintenance tasks autonomously to maximise machinery up time and minimise disruption to production targets.
- Assist the Engineering Manager with creating and reviewing risk assessments, SOPs, OPLs, and Preventative Maintenance Schedules
Qualifications
- Formal Qualification in Engineering, NVQ level 3+ with significant experience in Electrical and Mechanical
- 18th Edition wiring editions
- PLC Control systems
- Knowledge of CAD

This role we will be on a continental shift pattern requiring the individual to be available for the below shifts:
Earlies (6am-2pm), Nights (10pm-6am), Lates (2pm-10pm), Days (8am-4pm)
