We are currelty recrutiing for a Part-Time F&B Supervisor for our client based in Aberdeen.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety, and supporting the management team in achieving operational and financial goals. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating service, handling customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, bar, café, or food and beverage outlets.
Ensure efficient and smooth service during all operating hours.
Monitor food and beverage quality to ensure company standards are consistently met.
Conduct opening and closing procedures and complete daily operational checks.
Assist with stock control, ordering, receiving deliveries, and inventory management.
Ensure equipment is maintained and report maintenance issues promptly.

Team Leadership
Supervise, motivate, and support food and beverage team members.
Allocate duties and manage staff breaks and shift schedules.
Train, coach, and develop new and existing employees.
Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.

Customer Service
Deliver outstanding guest service and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
Build positive relationships with guests to encourage repeat business.
Ensure service standards consistently exceed customer expectations.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workplace.
Follow all company policies and local health and safety regulations.
Ensure responsible service of alcohol where applicable.
Conduct regular safety and cleanliness inspections.
Financial Responsibilities
Assist in achieving sales and profitability targets.
Monitor labour costs and minimise waste.
Handle cash, reconcile tills, and follow cash handling procedures.
Support promotional activities and upselling initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory or senior service role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems is desirable.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
