What You’ll Be Doing

As a Placement Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in coordinating care packages and matching the right Support Workers to the people we support.

Working closely with Local Authorities, families, Support Workers and our internal teams, you’ll help ensure our services are safe, responsive and delivered to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating new and existing care packages.
  • Matching Support Workers based on skills, experience and availability.
  • Building positive relationships with Local Authorities, commissioners, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Liaising with Support Workers regarding availability, shifts and placements.
  • Working closely with Recruitment, Compliance, Learning & Development and Operational teams.
  • Ensuring staffing remains safe, compliant and person-centred.
  • Responding quickly to changes in service requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
  • Supporting the mobilisation of new services and care packages.
  • Delivering an excellent service to both colleagues and external professionals.
  • Support the on-call service on a rolling rota.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience within Health & Social Care.
  • Experience coordinating care packages, staffing or placements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and safer recruitment.
  • A positive, professional and solution-focused attitude.

Desirable

  • Experience working within children’s services, supported accommodation or complex care.
  • Knowledge of CQC and/or Ofsted regulations.
  • Experience working with Local Authorities and commissioning teams.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Children and Young People’s Workforce, Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
