Love toys, creativity and seeing products come to life?
If you enjoy working with products, ideas and brands – and like the thought of helping turn a concept into something that ends up on shelves – this could be the role for you.
You’ll join a busy and creative product development team where no two days are the same. One day you might be reviewing competitor products, the next supporting the launch of a brand-new toy range or preparing samples for a trade show.
If you’re organised, curious and enjoy working in a fast-moving environment, this is an opportunity to develop real experience in product development within the toy industry.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You’ll play an important role in supporting the product team through the entire product development process.
Your work will include:
-
Supporting the development of new toy products from concept through to launch
-
Researching competitor products and helping the team understand market trends
-
Assisting with product specifications, packaging and approvals
-
Working with licensors to gain approvals for licensed products
-
Helping prepare product presentations for sales teams
-
Supporting the preparation of samples for trade shows and displays
-
Maintaining product records and documentation within internal systems
-
Assisting with product catalogues and product information
-
Working with marketing and design teams to ensure products are represented accurately across campaigns and materials
-
Helping coordinate product samples, photography and demonstrations
You’ll also support the team with showroom preparation, events and product launches – giving you exposure to many different aspects of the product development process.
Is this you?
You’ll likely enjoy this role if you:
-
Are highly organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks
-
Have strong attention to detail
-
Enjoy working in a creative and fast-paced environment
-
Are confident communicating with colleagues across different teams
-
Take initiative and enjoy solving problems
What you’ll get
-
Salary £25,000
-
A varied role within the product development team
-
Exposure to the full product lifecycle
-
A collaborative environment where you can develop your skills and experience
The role is currently based in Fleetwood, with the business planning to move to Kirkham around June, offering a modern working environment and continued growth for the team.
