Production Operative

£24,180 rising to £26,250 after training
Full time – 37.5 hours per week

A well-established manufacturing business based in Radcliffe is looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their specialist production team.
This is a hands-on role working within a small and supportive team, preparing small-batch product samples by carefully weighing and blending materials while following set formulations and processes.
Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with experience in production, manufacturing, food production, batching, mixing or blending environments.

The Role:

Working as part of the production team, you will help prepare product samples used by customers and internal departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Weighing and blending raw materials according to set formulations
  • Preparing and transferring samples into containers ready for dispatch
  • Recording production information accurately on internal systems
  • Working closely with quality and dispatch teams
  • Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Supporting colleagues across the department when required

The role involves small batch production, typically weighing materials between 200g and 2kg, so accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

You may have experience in:

  • Production or manufacturing environments
  • Food manufacturing or recipe-based production
  • Mixing, blending or batching processes
  • Any role involving weighing materials and following formulations

You will also have:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • A logical and methodical approach to work
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy

Starting salary £24,180, Salary rising to £26,250 once fully trained
