Project Manager – Utilities (Substation Framework)
Location: Scotland (Hybrid/Remote)
Salary: Up to £70,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + 10% Performance Bonus
ThreeSixty Talent are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering utility projects across Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity to manage a £5m Substation Framework, delivering low to medium voltage electrical infrastructure projects (up to 33kV). The role offers a great balance of autonomy, flexibility and career progression within a well-established and growing business.
The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of utility infrastructure projects from start to finish, ensuring programmes, budgets and quality standards are achieved while maintaining the highest levels of health and safety.
You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

We’re keen to speak with Project Managers from a range of utilities backgrounds, including:
- Electrical Utilities
- Power & Substations
- Fibre / Telecommunications
- Water
- Gas Networks
Previous substation experience is desirable but not essential if you have strong project management experience within utility infrastructure.
Experience working with SSE or SP Energy Networks (SPEN) would be a distinct advantage.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing utility infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of framework delivery
- Experience overseeing projects from inception through to completion
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
Working Pattern
- Hybrid working available (typically 3 days from home and 2 days in the office/site)
- Remote candidates will also be considered, provided you’re happy to attend site approximately once per week.
- Offices are located around 30 minutes from Glasgow, so candidates based across Scotland are encouraged to apply.
