Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Tree Surgeon to carry out a verity of work on a permanent basis in Northamptonshire.
Responsibilities of the Tree Operative:
- Carrying out a range of arboriculture duties including pruning, dismantling, and general tree maintenance
- Operating chainsaws both on the ground and at height
- Undertaking aerial tree work as part of a skilled team
- Completing risk assessments and ensuring safe working practices in public areas
- Supporting general estate upkeep such as garden clearance, waste removal, and external cleaning
- Assisting with minor property maintenance tasks where required
- Maintaining communal outdoor spaces including pathways and landscaped areas
Essential Experience of the Tree Operative:
- Relevant arboriculture certifications (CS 20-03, CS 21-08, CS 21-09 or NPTC 30-39, AO Unit Aerial Rescue and Brushwood Chipper Certification)
- Full UK driving licence
- Understanding of health & safety practices in outdoor/public settings
