Major Recruitment are looking to hire Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to join a dynamic team. The role involves picking and packing products, driving PPT or using manual handling trucks
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.
- Operate PPT, manual handling trucks, and pallet trucks to move products within the warehouse.
- Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively with team members to meet production goals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is required.
- Ability to drive to the location is essential.
- Must have own PPE, including safety boots and hi-vis.
- Reach truck FLT license is advantageous but not essential.
- Immediate starts available.
- Long-term, ongoing temp-to-perm work.
- Reach truck FLT (license advantageous but not essential)
Pay + Shift Pattern:
- 3 shifts on a weekly rotational basis:
- 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- £11.80 per hour
