On the way back from our fourth stop in the South West last week, we decided to drive through Worcestershire and make the fifth stop on our Managed Services Roadshow. It was another beautiful drive down long winding country roads – this one was a little more hectic though as we had a VERY CLOSE encounter with Bambi (as she jumped out right in front of our car, eeek!)

Nearly killing Bambi aside, we arrived at our Worcestershire site in one piece raring to meet the team. Unfortunately, poor Navdeep had car trouble too – somebody had bumped into his car on his way to work, the poor guy.

Once we all got into the office and had a slab of Aneta’s amazing Tiramisu we were all happy and ready to play some recruitment styled games and have fun with our TikToks as usual! We also had a great guided tour of the entire site and it’s facilities, which was fantastic. It’s so interesting to see.

It was another sunny day and the team were an absolute pleasure to be with. Would you like to get to know a little more and really see what makes them tick?

The Worcestershire Team

Let us introduce you to the team

Say hello to Aneta,

Aneta is the Account Manager on site. We could have made content with her all day as she loved it and was so good at it – star in the making!

We suggested a few ideas and she suggested her own – so we did both! She was an absolute treat. We’re sure her answers to the questions below are completely bonkers, and we’re here for it!

  1. If you had to replace your hands with something else, what would you choose? Crab claws – I could still use them as hands but wouldn’t have to do any handshakes (Hmmmm, are handshakes that much of an issue to give yourself claws Aneta?)
  2. What’s the weirdest thing you’d buy if you won the lottery? Pacman frog! (We spoke about this Aneta, Pacman frogs are £30 just get one!)
  3. What’s your “I shouldn’t find this funny, but I do” moment? People tripping over their own feet (No, that’s fine. Everybody knows that people falling over is the funniest thing ever!)
  4. Would you rather have a permanent clown nose or clown shoes? I love my shoes too much to have only one pair, so I take the nose (We think you’d suit the nose, but we wouldn’t mind rocking the shoes, however we think it might lead to your answer above!)
  5. What’s the strangest compliment you’ve ever received? I was told I have beautiful nail beds (Maybe you misheard them?)
  6. Would you rather have a house made of jelly or a car that runs on laughter? Definitely car that runs of laughter – I have plenty of it in store (Think of the money you’d save, but a jelly house in the rain would be a nightmare!)
  7. What’s something that’s completely normal but gives you the ick? Slow eaters! (This seems very harsh, how slow are we talking – it’s healthy to chew!)
  8. If you could bring one fictional gadget into real life, what would it be? Time machine that travels only to the past (Absolutely, but I’m going forward – I want a hoverboard!)
  9. What’s the most ridiculous conspiracy theory you secretly wish was true? ELVIS IS ALIVE (What do you mean, he is! We bumped into him at Tesco!)
  10. If you had to name your autobiography based on your last mistake, what would it be called? ‘Procrastination, laziness and failed uni assignments’ (We’d read it)

Now it’s Nav’s turn

This is Navdeep, he’s Aneta’s second in command and Account Coordinator on site. He actually used to work in the factory, and Aneta thought he’d be a quality addition to her team.

As we said, poor old Nav had his brand new car bumped on the morning of our visit. But he didn’t let it stop him having a great time – we like to think we took his mind of the bump for a few hours.

  1. What’s something you do that instantly makes you feel cooler than you actually are? Putting on sunglasses and walking confidently to a great song instantly makes me feel cooler than I actually am (Hahaha! We actually love this – you’re cool Nav, don’t forget that!)
  2. What’s a talent or skill you wish you had but would probably be useless in everyday life? I wish I could perfectly mimic any animal sound, though it would mostly just confuse people or pets in everyday life (and maybe get you a part in a Police Academy reboot?)
  3. If you were a ghost, what type of haunting would you specialise in? I’d specialise in rearranging furniture slightly to confuse people without causing real harm (You psycho hahaha, love it!)
  4. What’s the weirdest reason you’ve ever stayed up too late? I once stayed up too late trying to figure out why penguins can’t fly (We’re very confused here, did you stay up late….at the zoo?)
  5. If you could swap accents for a week, which one would you pick? I’d swap to a smooth British accent for a week to sound extra sophisticated (like Hugh Grant? Hahaha!)
  6. Would you rather have a rewind button for life or a fast-forward button for boring moments? I’d choose a rewind button to fix mistakes or relive great moments (Yeah, if you’ve seen the movie Click, you know you should never fast forward!)
  7. If you could instantly become an expert in something random, what would it be?
I’d become an expert in identifying obscure cloud formations (We literally have zero response to this!)
  8. If you could make one ridiculous thing illegal, what would it be? I’d make it illegal to leave one bite of food on a plate (We’re with you, this destroys us when we see it!)
  9. What’s your go-to “I can’t be bothered” meal? My go-to lazy meal is instant noodles with an egg cracked in (With an egg cracked in, oooooooh get you Gordon Ramsey!)
  10. If you could be best friends with any cartoon character, who would you pick? I’d be best friends with SpongeBob for his endless optimism (We can see you both tucking into a crab patty at The Krusty Klam together)

Recruitment Games

As we said, on this stop of the Roadshow, we decided to make up some games. We made up two new games ‘Name 3 Things’ and ‘Recruitment Taboo’. Take a look below at Aneta and Piotr being our first players of Recruitment Taboo.

We’re of on our travels again this week and we’ll be stopping twice in the West of England – see you then!
