We’re back on the road for our cake tour of the UK the Managed Services Roadshow, and today we’re back in the West Midlands. To be completely honest we thought our satnav was on the blink and we’d gone the complete wrong way when we saw the ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ sign (we had images in our head of leaving the tour for the day and go hunting down Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney). However, as always we say “Trust the process” and we got there in the end.
This is now the sixth stop of our Roadshow, so we know exactly what we’re doing! Arrive, find the team, brew, chat, giggle, cake, another brew, games, TikToks, another brew, perhaps another slice of cake, quick interview, pics and away – smooth as you like!
So, would you like to meet the team then?

Let’s start with Cristina, she is the onsite Senior Account Manager, and she is super classy! She even makes candles in her spare time, so the Major office smelled amazing!
Cristina was the next contestant in the Major Bake Off and she made a “Kushma lui Gugutza” which is a Moldovan Cherry Crepe Cake – it was amazing – it looked like it had been bought from a high end Patisserie! She was a little unsure about joining the rest of Managed Services on TikTok, but after a quiz and a Simon Cowell impression she was all in! She even asked us to come back soon.
- If you had to survive a zombie apocalypse with three fictional characters, who would you choose? Easy! John Wick (because he never runs out of bullets), Doctor Strange (so he can open a portal out of danger), and Scooby-Doo (because if I’m going to be running for my life, I might as well have a good laugh) (Cristina, those are amazing answers!)
- If you had to wear the same outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be? A Onesie; it’s comfy, warm, and I could pretend I’m a different animal every day (Wow, we’re taking back the classy comment from earlier!)
- What’s your go-to dance move when no one’s watching? The “Did My Wi-Fi Just Disconnect?” Wiggle, which is a mix of panic, flailing, and slight head-bobbing (Yeah, we think we saw you doing that at the Christmas party!)
- If you could be any inanimate object for a day, what would you be and why? A mirror, just to see how people react when they think no one’s watching. Drama guaranteed! (This is a brilliant answer, we can’t top it!)
- What’s a completely unnecessary skill you’d love to master? Flipping pancakes perfectly every time (Well from those crepes you made, surely you’re a master! Or do you not flip crepes!?)
- If your life had a background soundtrack, what song would always play during dramatic moments? The Law & Order “dun dun” sound effect. Just imagine dropping your phone and hearing that (Yeah, we’d go for the drums from Eastenders!)
- If you had to be a contestant on a reality show, which one would you choose? The Great British Bake Off. I can bake, but I can also cause chaos while pretending I know what I’m doing, even I don’t (Were being genuine here Cristina, you should actually apply to be on it!)
- What’s something super small that brings you a weird amount of joy? Peeling the plastic off a new electronic device. Pure, unmatched satisfaction (YES!!!!!!!!!)
- What’s a random item you own that has an oddly sentimental value? A single sock with no pair. Every year on Odd Socks Day, I proudly mismatch it with another to raise awareness for Anti-Bullying Day. It holds a special meaning for me, as my son is disabled, and this small act is my way of embracing uniqueness and celebrating differences (Remind us of this day Cristina and the whole Major Family will do the same!!)
- If you had to turn one of your hobbies into an Olympic sport, how would it work? Candle making, but extreme. Fastest wax pour wins, and bonus points for the strongest scent throw! (We think we’d watch that)

This is Gabriel, he is the Account Coordinator on site. He is Managed Services new Al Pacino, just check him out in the videos – one take wonder, and a laugh that will crack you up.
If you watch the trivia game we played, you’ll know his general knowledge isn’t as good as Cristina’s, but let’s find out what he’s really like from his answers below…
- If you could have one useless superpower, what would it be? Being able to instantly know the exact number of pages in any book just by looking at it – without opening it. Completely useless but oddly satisfying (You hit the brief with ‘useless’ right on the head there Gabriel!)
- If you had to live inside a board game for a week, which one would it be? Cluedo; A week of solving mysteries in a fancy mansion, dressed in 1920s attire, sipping whiskey, and dramatically accusing people of murder? Sounds entertaining… unless I end up as the victim (Great answer, and you definitely have a look of a detective about you!)
- Would you rather have the ability to perfectly predict the weather or always find the best parking spot? Always find the best parking spot. Predicting the weather is useful, but never having to circle the block or squeeze into a tight parallel spot? That’s true power (We don’t think we could answer this one, imagine knowing what to pack for holiday or knowing if you need a brolly or not – that would be amazing!)
- If you could only communicate through movie quotes for a day, which ones would you overuse? “I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse.” (The Godfather) – Perfect for negotiations, even if it’s just about lunch (We’d go Happy Gilmore)
- What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever Googled? Probably something like “Can you domesticate a seagull?” I was just curious (That is the best thing we’ve ever heard!)
- If you could swap lives with a fictional villain for a day, who would it be? Loki from Marvel. A day spent shape-shifting, causing playful chaos, and delivering perfectly-timed sarcastic remarks sounds genuinely appealing. Plus, I’d finally get to wear that helmet (Right Cristina and Valentina finally know what to get Gabriel for Christmas!)
- If you had to wear a hat every day, what kind of hat would you pick? A classic fedora. It’s stylish, versatile, and adds a bit of mystery. Whether dressed up or down, it works perfectly in any setting, making it a solid choice for daily wear. Plus, it has that timeless cool factor (Indiana Dasca, it’s the sequel everybody’s crying out for!)
- What’s a fictional food or drink you wish was real? Ambrosia, the divine nectar of the gods! Supposedly, drinking it granted immortality and eternal youth. If it were real, imagine the possibilities—endless energy, wisdom beyond time, and maybe even the ability to throw lightning bolts (just for dramatic effect) (Isn’t that custard?)
- What’s something that makes you irrationally competitive? Poker, without a doubt. The moment the cards hit the table, you probably shift into full-blown strategist mode; reading faces, calculating odds, and maybe even throwing in a little psychological warfare (We can see you know, sat across the table in your fedora, spurting out Godfather quotes on every hand “”It’s not personal, it’s strictly business.”)
- If you had to get a tattoo of a famous quote, which one would you choose? “Fortune favors the bold.” It’s classic, timeless, and a solid reminder to take risks, whether in life or at the poker table. Plus, it just looks cool inked in a dramatic font (What about – MAJOR FOREVER!)

Last but certainly not least, we have Valentina. she is Account Coordinator at the site we visited.
She was quiet when we arrived, we didn’t think she’d join in on the videos – but we swayed her in the end and she smashed it! This is where we find out about the real Valentina though, in her answers to these pointless questions!
- What’s the weirdest nickname you’ve ever been given? Fluffy – I used to be a lot bigger than now (Hmmmmm, we’re lost with that one)
- If you could create your own public holiday, what would it be called and how would people celebrate? “Self-Care Sunday” – A day dedicated to relaxation, spa treatments, and doing absolutely nothing productive (Oh count us in on this one!)
- If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing (besides money), what would it be? Candles, of course! Cristina is killing us with them haha! (Well working next to Cristina, she is your unlimited supply!)
- If you had to pick a song to play every time you entered a room, what would it be? Run the World (Girls) by Beyoncé (Queen Bee cannot be argued with!)
- If you had to be stuck in a car with any celebrity for a road trip, who would it be? Ryan Reynolds – he’d keep the trip entertaining! (That’s true, sarcasm is everything! Also quite apt considering our journey here!)
- If you could only use three words for the rest of the day, what would they be? Friends, Coffee, Chill (This might get a little awkward on the phone!)
- If your life had a tagline, what would it be? Make life beautiful (This could be your tattoo, to match Gabriel’s “Fortune favours the bold”)
- What’s one weird thing you believed as a kid? That swallowing gum meant it’d stay in my stomach forever (Seriously, is this not true?)
- If you could live in any animated movie, which one would you pick? Tangled, I’d love to live in that aesthetic – having a long hair myself it helps too (Yeah, but do you want to be trapped in a tower?)
- If you could only eat foods that start with one letter, which letter would you choose? “C”: Chocolate, Coffee, Cheese! (I don’t think I could top that….maybe b Burgers and Booze?)
Well as you can see Cristina, Gabriela and Valentina are totally Major – crackers but in the very best way possible – and that’s how we love it. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with them and watch them work.
We have another stop in the West Midlands coming very soon, so keep your eyes on our Roadshow blog page, or our socials and you’ll know when it pops.
