Their dedicated staff of over 350 individuals, are committed to maintaining excellence in every aspect of our operations. The Catering Department plays a crucial role in providing exceptional food and drink services to our members, staff, and guests, encompassing a variety of functions and special events.

We are seeking a Functions Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of their Functions and Private Dining rooms, ensuring the seamless execution of formal meals, buffets, meetings, and light refreshments. The role involves setting up halls or rooms, arranging furniture, serving food and drinks, and clearing down after events. Additionally, the Functions Supervisor will be responsible for organizing and supervising Functions staff members, including permanent and casual staff, while also assisting in other areas of the department as needed.

Responsibilities of a Functions Supervisor;

  • Coordinate and supervise functions and events with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure the highest standards of service and presentation are maintained at all times
  • Organize and lead Functions staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Assist with setting up and clearing down of event spaces, including moving furniture and equipment
  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations and guidelines
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Maintain a “can do” attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service

Requirements of a Functions Supervisor:

  • Previous experience in waiting or supervisory roles within a School, College, or hotel environment
  • Ability to confidently manage small events and functions with minimal supervision
  • Good working knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Supervisory experience preferred but not essential
  • Well-presented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends as required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Our client is looking for a Mobile Cleaner to help with the summer season.

You will ideally have some previous cleaning experience although full training will be given.

The role:-

You will arrive at our clients site in North Walsham at 8am and be allocated to a team of cleaners.

You will then drive to the various holiday homes and commercial offices that require cleaning and prepping for the next guests.

Once each property has been cleaned to the clients high standards you will then head on to the next one.

When all properties have been completed you will drive back to site.

You will be paid from when you leave site, up to when you return.

Pay is from £12.00 per hour.

You are required to have a driving licence as you will be driving a company van.
