VNA Driver – Heywood – Night shift

Major Recruitment are looking for FLT VNA Driver to join our successful client based in Heywood Distribution park.

We are looking to recruit a FLT VNA Driver for their large scale distribution site in Heywood. Working in an ambient warehouse. 100% FLT driving – long-term position.

Candidates must have in date licence – we cannot accept in-house licences. Successful candidate will have to attend one day driving assessment including Drug & Alcohol testing, usual start for assessment is 8am, pay rate for assessment £11.89ph.

Shift Pattern:

– Night shift 6pm – 6am

– Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday

Pay rate:

– £12.89ph on weekdays

– £13.39ph Saturday

– £14.39ph Sunday

Requirements:

– Valid FLT vna licence (we cannot accept in-house licenses)

– Previous experience is preferred

– Candidate has to successfully complete driving assessment and pass Drug & Alcohol test prior to starting work

This particular company is one of the leading Meat Distributors Nationwide.

The Warehouse Operative will be placed on an Temp to Perm basis

The Role

You will be required to pick frozen foods using a pallet truck and onto pallets. It will be in both cold storage and frozen storage unit (PPE Provided) so you must be willing to work in cold working conditions. Multiple breaks are given throughout the day due to the working conditions.

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Tramper to work out of Bradford on a Temp to Perm contract.

Pay (PAYE):

£14.00 per hour

£25.00 per night out

Duties:

Delivering furniture to customers across UK and Ireland.

Low multi-drop, on average 10-15 drops per week.

You will be required to help unload the furniture at the customer.

This is a very customer focused role.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday/Friday depending on the deliveries, usually with 2-4 nights out per week.

Requirements:

Class 2 licence

At least 1 year experience driving Class 2 vehicles

As a Mail / Parcel Sorter, you’ll be unloading mail and parcels, moving them through the warehouse and ensuring that they arrive at their destination safely. During a single shift, you could sort over a million items with your team! It’s a very important role so flexibility, commitment and enthusiasm are key.

You must be able to:

  • Comfortably stand for long periods
