  • Preparing and operating CNC, perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations and set-up requirements.
  • Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauges, to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Production Process: Lead and manage a team of production line workers engaged in various stages of food processing, including chopping vegetables, weighing, packing, and labeling.
  • Ensure Production Targets: Collaborate with production planning and scheduling teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets (KPI). Monitor and adjust production processes as needed to optimize efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that Critical Control Points (CCP’s) are adhered to and followed for all processes Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed company and regulatory standards. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and promptly address any breakdowns or malfunctions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality metrics. Generate reports as required by management to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Support the Shift Manager to deliver the operational goals and objectives for the shift Foster clear communication channels between different departments, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance. Address and resolve any issues that may impact production efficiency or product quality.

Qualifications and Skills:
Please note that fully paid training will be provided, however we are seeking for a candidate with previous experience.

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a food production environment. Previous experience of FMCG chilled food environment is essential.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
  • HACCP & Food Safety trained to Level 2/3
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and the ability to enforce compliance.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
