Sales Administrator

Major Recruitment are recruiting for our prestigious client in Daventry for a Sales Administrator.

You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries and provide support for sales representatives. Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has some knowledge of customer service best practices. If you have exceptional organizational skills and draw energy from being part of a team, we would like to meet you.

Main Duties
* Dealing with customer enquiries over the telephone and via email.
* Taking orders from customers, advising stock situation, prices, availability; extracting full information at time of call.
* Price items for customers and produce quotations for customers
* Processing sales orders/quotations onto system.
* Provide technical assistance and advice to customers
* Follow up on open enquiries
* Liaising with purchasing team
* Cross and up selling of company products
* Provide excellent customer service and specialist product knowledge
* Calling Customers with any problems regarding orders.
* General administration
* Market Research – updating contact card and Vecta with all information gathered.
* Building relationships with accounts.
* Working in a small team to hit territory targets set.
* Promotion awareness and the selling of at all times
* Assisting sales team with customer accounts
* Regular 1-2-1’s with Manager
* Update and record information on computer systems as required
* Other tasks as deemed appropriate

Sub assembly Welder

We have an opportunity for our prestigious client in Daventry for a Sub assembly Welder to join the growing team.

We require someone with basic welding experience, with an excellent eye for detail and understanding of quality due to the extremely high standards set by our Automotive OE customers. You must be able to work diligently with minimum supervision day to day.

Main duties of the role include;

  • Work in accordance with legislative and company requirements for Health Safety and the Environment.
  • Use MIG and/or TIG welding equipment to manufacture parts and assemblies as required, to meet defined production schedules.
  • Preparation and setup of tools and equipment in support of the welding activity.
  • Preparation of parts for welding.
  • Support Works order and process tracking via shop floor data capture systems and the company wide ERP system.
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm
