This role is temp to perm after 6 weeks

Any 5 days Monday to Saturday

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Loading/unloading
  • Daily Vehicle checks and van cleanliness.
  • 15 – 20 drops a day
  • Customer facing
  • White goods delivery
  • Heavy lifting involved

Requirements:

  • Be over 23 years old for insurance purposes
  • Have a driving licence for over 2 years
  • Clean driving licence
  • Experience in delivery driving 3.5t Van
  • Able to start early in the morning

Cleaning Supervisor

Monday to Friday
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in the Cleaning industry is essential

Responsibilities:

  • To provide excellent Cleaning standards operating within the Daventry campus and delivering to meet the values and leadership principles
  • To focus on the expected team behaviours for achieving significant results and outcomes for the business
  • Smooth day-to-day management of the Cleaning services provided on site direction, guidance training and support to all employees within their area of responsibility
  • To develop and maintain a professional and proactive business relationship with all levels of client’s representatives, promoting the Company and development of services
  • Maintain regular contact with all employees within their area of responsibility
  • Recruit the highest possible calibre operatives to fill vacancies within the area. Personally, monitor all applications for authenticity and seek and obtain references. Ensure all employee documentation is processed correctly.
  • Ensure that all employees are appropriately inducted, trained and developed. This responsibility includes identification of training needs, recommending training programmes, monitoring and evaluating the effect of that training.
  • Plan and allocate work to ensure effective use of staff and equipment. Compilation of rosters in conjunction with personnel on site.
  • Ensure that standards are consistently achieved and maintained. Carry out regular audits on standards and due diligence documentation.
  • Advise Housekeeping manager of all changes within each building which affect cleaning requirements, including additional equipment or areas to be cleaned, increase or reduction in frequency or any new services.
  • Manage implementation of Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policy. Carry out Risk Assessments on methods of work, use of chemicals and equipment, and maintain relevant documentation.
  • To carry out complete investigation of all incidents and accidents involving the company’s employees, machinery or equipment. Ensuring all accident reporting procedures are followed.

Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Must have a least two years’ experience in a similar position within the cleaning /Housekeeping Industry
  • Must be IT literate with good man management skills, capable of working to tight deadlines
  • Proactive management skills, flexibility and be customer focused
  • Demonstrate good delegation skills

Major Recruitment are looking for a Production Engineer to join a growing team with our prestigious client in Daventry.

Monday to Friday

08:00AM to 16:00PM

Clean driving licence required

Your responsibilities as a Production Engineer will include:

– Production and Implementation from PA release to J1 +90 days
– Work to defined APQP process
– Being responsible for the entire MFR process (supporting APQP document)
– Responsible for all production engineering sections of PRN
– Building all prototype parts
– Writing and signing off SOP’s
– Converting process flow to routes and ensuring all SC/CC, quality items (including the ones coming from DFMEA, PFMEA) and changes throughout process development are captured
– Installation, operation and performance qualifications.

The ideal candidate for this role:

– Has automotive background
– Is experienced with proven history of delivering similar automotive products
– Good MS Office skills
– Familiar with APQP process
– Knowledge of LEAN tools
– Knowledge of IATF16949 preferable
– Degree (BEng Mechanical) preferred

Sub assembly Welder

We have an opportunity for our prestigious client in Daventry for a Sub assembly Welder to join the growing team.

We require someone with basic welding experience, with an excellent eye for detail and understanding of quality due to the extremely high standards set by our Automotive OE customers. You must be able to work diligently with minimum supervision day to day.

Main duties of the role include;

  • Work in accordance with legislative and company requirements for Health Safety and the Environment.
  • Use MIG and/or TIG welding equipment to manufacture parts and assemblies as required, to meet defined production schedules.
  • Preparation and setup of tools and equipment in support of the welding activity.
  • Preparation of parts for welding.
  • Support Works order and process tracking via shop floor data capture systems and the company wide ERP system.
  • Perform other duties as requested

Monday to Friday
Full time 37.5 hours/week
Clean driving licence essential as travelling between sites will be required
Aerospace/Automotive experience desirable

Your responsibilities as a Machine Technician will include:

  • Ensure maximum factory output through operational efficiencies and minimal machine downtime.
  • Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve with minimal downtime to production.
  • Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service.
  • Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales.
  • Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage to individuals or the business.
  • Analysis of issues to root cause and development of countermeasures, improvement actions and/or suggestions to improve.
  • Control and source maintenance tools, equipment and spares.
  • Document maintenance breakdowns, identifying root cause and remedial action to help identify and resolve recurring issues.
  • Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management.
  • Identify machine spares requirements and log usage.
  • Identify and manage critical spares to ensure continuity in production areas.
  • Ensure TPM’s are carried out on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and record completion for traceability.
  • Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment.
  • Assist visiting specialist engineers when necessary.
  • Setting up all plant and machinery to works order in advance of operator becoming free.
  • Check roots, work instructions and SOPs are available and correct.

37.5 hours/ week
Automotive/Aerospace experience essential

Your responsibilities as a Senior Fabricator/Setter will include:

  • Setting up all plant and machinery to works order in advance of operator becoming free
  • Check roots, work instructions and SOP’s are available and correct
  • Ensure operators are trained and risk assessed before embarking on task
  • Ensure operators are competent in all tasks
  • Ensure 1st off is correct and sign off works order
  • Ensure all instructions and tools are available for operators to make good parts
  • Ensure operator knows time to complete task
  • Ensure operator clocks onto the task correctly
  • Return to operator after planned time period to sign off last off
  • Report any issues and reasons why operators could not complete works order to correct time and required quality
  • Operate production equipment
  • Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and the machines
  • Report equipment faults to maintenance staff
