Major Recruitment are looking for Powder Coaters for a client in Middlesbrough, this is a full-time vacancy on a temp to perm basis. Previous experience with powder coating is essential.

  • Monday to Friday.
  • £27,000 per year (£12.98 per hour)
  • 40 hours per week
  • £19.47 after 40 hours per week
  • £25.96 Sunday

Hamilton Woods Associates are looking for a Damp and Mould Surveyor to join a social housing providers Repairs and Maintenance team. This role involves providing specialist advice on complex repair issues, damp and mould, housing disrepair, and escalated cases, while ensuring statutory and regulatory obligations are met.

Responsibilities of the Damp ad Mould Surveyor:

  • Acting as the property expert for teams across the organisation.
  • Inspecting tenanted and empty homes, identifying maintenance and investment needs.
  • Completing damp and mould assessments in line with Awaab’s Law.
  • Managing cases from start to finish, providing timely updates and recommendations.
  • Overseeing and inspecting work by contractors and in-house teams, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation.
  • Supporting Housing Disrepair Claims and resolve low-level complaints.
  • Contributing to asset planning and sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate data and reporting.

Requirements of the Damp and Mould Surveyor:

  • Strong technical knowledge of building construction, repairs, and regulations.
  • Experience in on-site supervision and managing contractors.
  • Experience in specifying remedial works.
